Happened by here after work and gave it a try as I had commercials on the radio focused on the live music. Got a great local IPA from a local brewery across the Potomac and an ice cold glass just the right size. Lots of house made specials from an owner who is very hands on. Coles Point Tavern is located in Maryland and as you walk to the restaurant you cross a "red line" on the boardwalk (Virginia/Maryland) state line. The food is awesome, our sandwiches were large and packed with meat. My grandson had the double meat cheeseburger, which was also great. The chilis had great flavor and came in a pretty good sized bowl. We also got the "loaded" french fries, onion rings and fried pickles. The waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full.
