“I love this place, came in from a recommendation of a customer while in the area and I cannot thank them enough. The atmosphere is homey, the staff is a friendly family, you can hear the love they have for each other and they most definitely pour that love into the food. I got the chicken parm sandwich and fries, my coworkers got the flippin chicken and tenders and we got orders of fried Oreos as well. My chicken parm was immaculate! What I imagine was Homemade sauce, chicken, and cheese on a beautifully fluffy bun and my fries were cooked to perfection with not too much or too little salt. My coworkers took a single bite of their food and we all didn’t come up for air till our trays were clean.Service 10/10Food 10/10Atmosphere 10/10I will be making the hour and a half drive back here and I’m bringing my family and friends when I do!“
“Solid selection! Date night was a hit...reservations recommended/required on a Friday night. We truly enjoyed the blackened Snapper, SOMD egg-rolls, and fried oysters. Beth was very attentive in taking care of us. Great crowd (hence the reservations) kept the place lively and entertaining. Worth the drive to experience this classic SOMD bar & grill. Enjoy! OBTW....don't overlook the adjacent grocery for THE BEST stuffed ham and chicken salad!“

“Happened by here after work and gave it a try as I had commercials on the radio focused on the live music. Got a great local IPA from a local brewery across the Potomac and an ice cold glass just the right size. Lots of house made specials from an owner who is very hands on. We shared an order of the Chesapeake pay fries smothered in she crab soup and parm. They were absolutely delish and while a surprising combination paired well together. Even though it’s an hour from home, I’m already planning my next trip. Reduced hours off season so check before you go.“
