The food is very good if you want home cooking crm potatoes, turnip greens , homemade mac and cheese and homemade desserts this is your place plus fish aquarium for the kids 😋 with nice people
Born in Danville, grew up in Lynchburg, now I’m back in Danville and working in Halifax. Decided to stop in as I’d heard great things. Got some of the chicken tenders and a chili dog and they did not disappoint! The chicken tenders were really fried, actually breaded up on site, handmade, exactly what you’d expect for southern fried chicken. The chili dog was really good too, hard to mess those up. The restaurant is nice and small, feels very comfy...
Just good food. Service is amazing, and it was super busy when we were there. It was like they read my husband's mind with the catfish dinner special, and he was very happy with it. My burger was perfect, actually a handmade burger and not a pre-pressed patty bought somewhere else. Food came out fast considering how busy they were, hot, and very good. Oh, and the tea is strong. Good stuff for fair prices.
