Here we go….. waited more than 20 minutes for someone to ask for our drink order (and had to get her attention). Another 30 mins or more for food. The table where they sat us was literally so close to the other person our backs were almost against each other.Instead of bringing the food to the table they brought it to the bar first. The food was not great.Note: I am thankful for taking a nap while there and having an extensive conversation with my friend.There bad restaurants out there but this one takes the cake.

Food took long to be served my family got there meal l never received my meal (7)) guests after 1hr 20 minutes canceled my order,I had to go somewhere else to receive my Easter meal I spent $150 (2)customers before me got up & cancelled their order 3/31/24 not going there no time soon

I ordered 4 meals at $20 per person for my work team and everyone was disappointed. We had 3 orders mac and cheese, only one order was completed because they ran out. They should have kept the 1 they gave us. Chicken took 25 minutes and wasn’t done. This was a waste of money and time. Ordered a side of gravy and it looked like a brownie. Never Again!!

Wait times take too long. Always understaffed and after waiting multiple times for 45 minutes- 1 hour the food is cold , taste badly or is underwhelming on how unseasonably it is. Try other soul food places.

I got the seafood platter, and my crabcake was broken up and raw on the inside. my fried scallops were inconsistent one breaded and the other one wasn’t. I tried this food before and it was good, but the wait time is crazy insane for the amount of food and the low quality you’re getting. The peach cobbler should’ve never been brought out. The mac and cheese had overcooked noodles and no seasoning. Then both of my orders were missing cornbread. If y’all messed an item up, why would you serve that to somebody? Why not make another ? The quality of food should be the same from the first person that walks in the door to the last person that walked in the door. Also why isn’t the kitchen not communicating with the front? Don’t wait until a customer has paid and has been waiting 20 mins to let them know you don’t have something . Sir if that’s how you do business maybe you should not be running for city council.

The staff was great! The owner was even very welcoming and friendly to everyone. The food was great. I had the smothered turkey wings and cabbage. My cousin had the catfish. It was all very good. I will definitely be going back to check out the their Thursday night karaoke. This spot is a hidden gem, definitely for the mature grown ups.
Nice and spacious. This was my first time eating here. Chicken wings (3) cause they were big ones ?. Potatoes salad was good the cabbage I won't get again not big on onions in it. Be overall I'll go back again.
