I'm over due on this review.

I've been to many bars and breweries coast to coast, but this company and its employees have me wondering constantly when I'll be back.

Not only do they have good drinks and music, but most importantly, the employees are always welcoming conversation and banter.

My friend, who brought me here when I was visiting, keeps telling me that they have asked numerous times when I'm coming back. Never have I been to a place where they care about someone they just met like that, and I promise and can assure it's not because of the money spent.

You can't go wrong with this place.

We recently visited for the first time. The beer was ok, but we were very put off by the behavior of the bartender so we did not stay for another. When we approached the bar (before we could even order) a male bartender aggressively told the female bartender to shut up, before turning to us to say "pay no attention to her". I was appalled and so was my husband. Even if you have a joking relationship, its very unprofessional and off putting to customers to act that way. It was incredibly uncomforable for us, so we will not be back.

One of the best Kolsh style beers this side of the Atlantic! Cool veteran-centric atmosphere with a big open indoor space. Lots of great options with a little something for everyone, including seltzer and NA. Big selection of board games and seems like lots of weekly events like trivia. I was impressed with this place and will surely be back next time I'm in the area.

Such a chill place. Good beers brewed in-house. Friendly staff. And they have rotating food trucks that never disappoint on the food or price. Being a regular here, I would highly recommend

Really amazing atmosphere!! I was there for my dad’s food truck (Big Belly food truck) I’m not a beer drinker but they have seltzer where you can choose your own flavors! I forgot what the first one was called that Kat recommended but Mike recommended the blueberry cheesecake and they were both VERY VERY good!

I have been to Capstans Brewery several times before and have always enjoyed the pleasant vibe and, of course, the delicious wings on Wednesdays. However, my recent visit was marred by an incredibly rude and unprofessional bartender.Despite being a regular customer, the bartender seemed disinterested and unfriendly towards my husband and me. She purposefully overlooked us when taking drink orders, which left us feeling ignored and unwelcome.When we brought this issue to the attention of her manager, the response was equally disappointing. Instead of addressing the problem seriously, the manager made light of the situation and even joked about it, which was completely inappropriate.This experience left me deeply disappointed and uncomfortable. The casual dismissal of our concerns and the apparent racism underlying the bartender’s behavior is unacceptable.As a result, I will not be patronizing Capstans Brewery again. It’s unfortunate that what was once a favorite spot has now left such a negative impression.

We went to Capstan Bar and Brewery for our date night. Kevin was out there with his Foodtruck DD214. We enjoyed the beautiful weather with awesome beer, great BBQ. Highly recommend.
