I checked in online, got a text that my table was being prepared to report to the hostess stand, where My Party & I proceeded to stand. The 2 pleasant hostesses, apologized & went to help bus our table! This grumpy ole bitty came up & just started yelling, "Last call" for parties that hadnonly been called once & all were standing at the hostess stand!
My children request to go here often so we go often. Zero complaints here.

Sat down and waited and waited and waited. Ask staff if they could send server. Then waited and waited and waited while the entire place had been waited on. Did not ever get served. I guess you know what I would like to say about this place.

Went on Monday about 1. Waited 30 minutes to be seated even though very few people were there. No problem. Everyone is having a hard time getting employees. My husband and I are very sympathetic since we own a restaurant. Seated and were finally waited on. Ordered and told 20 minutes later that biscuits and cornbread were in the oven and would be out soon. Food arrived and were told all bread was still in oven. 30 minutes later when the gravy for my biscuits was ice cold asked again and was told that the woman who made the bread had gone home. Eggs were scrambled hard as a rock. Hash Hashbrowns were burned. Grits were dry as a bone. Sausage was undercooked. Finally got a Togo box to take home to dogs. Cashier asked if everything was okay but when we explained still charged for it. Asked to see manager and after waiting another 10 minutes she still wasn't at all apologetic. Finally just left. I have been going to cracker barrel for years but will never ever go back.

Sunday visit around 2:30, food horrible sent first request back, warm temperature, bake potato not fully cooked, turnip greens had too much season meat not enough turnip greens, I had trio sampler plate, meatloaf horrible, chicken breast horrible grease needs changing and chicken n dumplings warm temperature. Exchanged all of that for the fried catfish that was hot and fresh.
Our waitress, Alexis,was very attentive.She checked in with us several times and was understanding when we added another person to our group. She took care of ensuring all our food came out together since the additional person was added a little later. Very nice and helpful.Not too many wait staff gives as much care as this young lady did for us.Thank you so much, Alexis.

Food is ok. But the waitress named Destiny gave us our check while we were still eating. We had to wait almost 20 mins for the food (understandable as it’s Sunday morning) but why would they rush us to pay when we’re not finish our meal? Never get our water refilled. Would give 0 star for the service if there is a choice. Bad experience with Cracker Barrel Hampton.

The biscuits with the gravy dip appetizer was phenomenal! Best gravy in town! The cheesy tater tots were delicious. The service was top notch. I believe our waiters name was Brandon. He did a great job! Best breakfast in a long time!
