Stopped in as part of Sunday Funday barhop with visiting friend from Massachusetts. We had brunch earlier, so we just had snacks. The trio salsa and chips was great and plenty. My friend loved the grilled and smothered corn. We were more focused on the flavored strawberry and mango margaritas on the rocks and Patron tequila shots. Atmosphere is great, small, quaint and not quiet. Ok to talk, laugh and enjoy yourself without feeling disturbing to others. Music was good this day as well. Happy Sunday!! Thanks, Roxanne!!

GLORIOUS!!!I know this man... a man who has experienced great peril in his life. I asked him what, if he was not sure whether his next meal would be his last, would he regret not eating again. He whispered to me "brisket quesadilla...". I said "but where?", and he just smiled and said "el Diablo...."This was an amazing adventure. The best brisket quesadilla I have ever experienced. I'll come back for this again one day... one glorious day.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant twice now. The first time it was very delicious, I was excited for the next order. Unfortunately, the second time around (approx 3 months later) I was not impressed. Not sure what happened, maybe a change in management or staff, but the chips tasted and smelled like old cooking oil as soon I as opened up the container, the smell was so strong that they were not edible. I hope that they can figure out the quality control. I gave 3 stars because I truly enjoyed my first experience, but something has changed.

I LOVE the food here. The homemade chicharones are a great appetizer. I cannot resist the paella when it's on the specials board. The muslos fritos (fried chicken thighs) are great. I had the chorizo hoagie on the specials board and the aoli style sauce was killer. The only reason I docked a star is the service. Every time we go the wait staff service is bad. They are slow, don't know what's on their 3 item specials board, will leave for extended times...etc. It's the same for the 5 times we have been there. The food is good enough to recommend a visit, just be patient with the service.

I've visited El Diablo a number of times now since moving to the area and it always delivers. The atmosphere is phenomenal and screams tequila bar, and staff there are amazing. The food always hits the spot with my favorite being their big burrito. If you decide to go on a weekend though you can expect there to be a wait, as is the case with any restaurant in Phoebus!

Visited El Diablo on Sunday around lunchtime- it was my first time here and was recommended by a friend. The atmosphere is comfortable && light. They have an open kitchen area which I love and a huge bar. Our server Jasmine was friendly && quick to greet us. The food was amazing! Highly suggest the Queso and chips- it is hands down the best Queso I have ever had. I also ordered the Chicken Quesadilla with rice and beans as my sides- it was delicious. The food was hot && seasoned perfectly. There were very large portion sizes - I took a box to go. Would highly recommend you check this place out if you love spice && getting your moneys worth. Also just to note there is limited on street parking but there is parking a block down with plenty of space && it was a beautiful day for a short walk (especially after all that delicious food).

Flew in to visit my daughter in Hampton. I really enjoyed their tacos and burritos and their hot sauces are Awsome!! I wish they had a better variety of breakfast tacos like Texas but still great.

If you're ever craving good tequila and good food, this is the spot! We start with chips and queso and do the taco trio. Always a win!

My favorite taco spot on the peninsula, one of my favorite taco spots anywhere really. The place is always lively. Grungy bar (in a good way) food is great. Not your same old tex-mex.

I did not have a good experience. Went to this place for the first time and ordered nachos, enchiladas, margs, and grill chicken tacos. The chips in the nachos had a really bad smell and we could not finish anything. Would not go back.

A MUST HAVE when we visit Buckroe! Service can be iffy but the food is SO GOOD, worth the wait.

I have loved this place for many years. I thought they had the best brisket in the area. I'm not sure what we ate, but it was stringy meat with no flavor. It was suppose to be brisket but looked like some long stringy meat. Hopefully it gets back to normal after this weird world!

I have been waiting for it this spot to reopen! Last few times over the year they were still closed but I finally got to back this last Sunday! Just check their hours before you go.

Where the vibes at?! Called ahead and waited almost 45 minutes for a table. Came back inside just to be told we would have to wait longer. I guess they had to combine two tables together for a party of 5. However, they had two tables that were left unclean for at least 10 minutes. Both tables could have been cleaned and combined. But instead we were lectured about what's policy and what's not. Never mind bro I rather go somewhere else ‍
