Wow! My husband and I have always loved this spot, the previous owner always delivered on great food and good service.. but the new owner, Jess, has taken it up a notch! The food quality is better and the resturant has got a bit of a facelift with her touch, while still keeping the classic Fertittas feel. We avoided going to this local spot for a little.. it was falling into the normal “Hampton grudge” that so many places fall into in this area.. but Jess has totally changed that! Thank you Jess and team for putting your heart into this place (you can tell!) and keeping a quality local diner in Hampton! We may have found a new weekly spot!

Found this place on google and stopped by while I had to time to kill and I am so glad I did. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by not only the host/ waitress, but also the cook. The service was amazing, and very welcoming and warm. The food came out very fast, and cooked fresh. The Strawberry French toast was the best I've had , hands down. The side of fruit was very fresh and sweet. I love this place and will come back every chance Im on the peninsula.

The place seems sketchy at first but everyone was extremely nice. I came in here with high expectations about the food and the food was only ok. The grits were very cold but the waitress happily brought out hot grits once we brought it to her attention. However they were not made with love. They were not boiled with salt or butter. We had to doctor them up ourselves. The scrambled eggs were good. The pancake was very dark. The turkey bacon was a tad bit salty. And there was not anything special about the French toast.

I love Fertittas. It is my favorite place to go if you’re looking for good diner food. I’ve gone by myself, with family, and ordered take out and I’ve never been disappointed. While their Chunky Monkey pancakes are my favorite, everything I’ve tried has been delicious. The staff are always friendly. The restaurant is small so seating is limited, but if you can catch a booth it is absolutely worth it.

8 tables in the restaurant and I wouldn’t sit any more than 4 adults in one booth. That being said the staff and regulars were friendly, the food was very good, and prices seemed plenty fair.

I've been here about 3 times, and I always dine in. It can get busy, but the food is so worth it. The Elvis French toast is my absolute favorite. Their food give you that good home cooked meal feeling. The staff are amazing and treat you like family. This is my new favorite place.
Seriously disgusting. I had eggs and sausage to go. Eggs had a black piece of mucus looking thing in them and were sitting in a pool of water. Mind you they boxed it immediately and I left the eggs weren’t sitting for a long time at all in the box.

It's been 44 years since I last ate here as a teenager and they are still making great hotdogs with chili, onions and mustard. Friendliest staff of anywhere I know. They know so many of the regulars names I was pleasantly surprised to see that. I don't live in Hampton anymore but will have to visit again the next time I'm in town.

Really good food and great prices. No major flair or anything just good solid quality. I work at a much higher priced restaurant and this place is much better quality. Service is very attentive and they seem to work as a strong team. I really can’t say enough after 2 visits. Highly recommend if you want some great food that’s affordable. Keep it up guys👍🏼
