I usually come here and the food and coffee is always good, today both our sandwiches had eggs shells in them, messed up our coffee order twice. I asked for cold brew and got iced coffee, when I told them about it the lady said not to throw it out just in case someone else ordered or wanted it. When she gave me my new coffee she then put milk in it. I’m not sure if the girl was new and didn’t know what she was doing but it definitely was not good this time around.

Stopped in at Firehouse Coffee Saturday morning to show one of my friends who is visiting from out of town the space. We ordered two iced coffee beverages and some breakfast sandwiches. Unfortunately, the iced coffee beverages did not taste very good at all :( My friend got a matcha latte and I got a cold brew coffee with vanilla. They were just watered down and poorly made. We didn’t even want to drink them. I asked one of the employees if I could switch my iced coffee out for a hot coffee instead because I didn’t like it, and thankfully she was very nice about it. I’ve enjoyed Firehouse Coffee in the past, but the last two times I’ve been there the iced drinks have not been the best. Also, the water jug (orange gatorade container) had mildew all on the spout and when I tried to get some water little pieces of mold went into my cup. It was gross. So I asked one of the employees for a cup of water with ice from the back. I think it’s really important to make sure the water container that everyone is supposed is cleaned and checked regularly. Lastly, the couches and furniture had stains all over it. I assume kids had something to do with that, which is completely understandable, but I would try to clean the furniture with some upholstery cleaner because it looks bad to have dirty furniture. People should want to sit on the couches in there, it’s part of the experience and overall atmosphere to have comfy couches to sit on. But they looked like they came from a preschool classroom. Overall, I really like Firehouse Coffee, so I hope they can make improvements and continue to thrive as a business.

Their coffee is SO GOOD firehouse coffee is my favorite local coffee place. I'm gluten free and I got the chicken salad on lettuce with a side of chips and it tasted amazing. They even were able to give my puppy a little pup cup with a dog treat in it! Very friendly staff! I highly recommend firehouse coffee!!

Stopped by after a run at Fort Monroe and had a great experience. The staff was super helpful in recommending the perfect drink—a refreshing lavender iced coffee—and the atmosphere was really cool and relaxed. Definitely a spot I'll be returning to!

I love this place I go and watch the sun come up then have a sandwich and a coffee I almost don't want to give a review because it's a nice little spot and don't want it to get spoiled by crowds of people LOL highly recommend this place

I just wish we could eat anything here. Absolutely no awareness of people with dietary restrictions at all. If they could add some gluten free, vegan, nut free items to the menu I would really like to give this place 5 stars.

A hidden gem on Fort Monroe, this is a go to spot for my family and I. Best breakfast sandwiches and honestly the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. It’s made fresh daily, 10/10! It’s a small quaint place with outdoor seating. I am not a coffee drinker but I’ve heard great things about their coffee selection! Highly recommend
