They had a special for spicy BBQ sandwich when I stopped in. I picked it over their usual delightful chicken salad sandwich and I was amazed by its deliciousness. I would highly recommend both of these sandwiches ?! This is one of my favorite spots in Hampton because you can get a snack and then walk along the moat to the shores!
One more reason to go to Ft. Monroe. Firehouse coffee is amazing!

Great little place, good coffee and a fun family friendly atmosphere. Tables and chairs outside too. Minus a star though for the coffee cups leaking badly was a disaster. Soo maybe ask for a double cup?

It's rare I give a 5 star review but this gem deserves it. Great coffee, the scones are awesome, as is the service and staff. The atmosphere is unique. It is located in the old Ft. Monroe fire station and decorated accordingly. They also have ice cream. Can't praise this place enough.

Beware- they refuse customers use of bathrooms. I have come here on and off for years, as it was a family friendly place to stop for some coffee and light fare when walking ft. Monroe. I will not be returning anytime soon after being turned away with with a young child who desperately needed to use the bathroom. How can you serve drinks and food and have no place for anyone to relieve themselves? I thought that was against Virginia code.
