Even though what I ordered wasn't fresh I contacted the store and the manager Paul made it right. He made sure I was taken care of and got me a fresh meal. I understand things happen but its what they do to make it right. Paul went beyond my expectations and I'm still a big fan of Firehouse.
The online order is never ready on time. I think they're waiting until the customer shows up to pick up the order before they actually make it because only until the customer arrives does the order get started.Update: Order was all wrong too. Will not be trying again. Too many failed chances.

Fun fact. There's absolutely no way to speak to anyone about your order once it's ordered. You can call only to have an automated man tell you to email them and they'll reply in 24 hours. Im pregnant and just wanted pepper sauce with my order and there's no option to add that on the order either. So i guess the customer is just outta luck.

This is the only firehouse I go to that is always out of something. The soda machine is broken and nasty. The customer service is never satisfactory. Highly recommend never going to this one. I always travel to the Newport News location due to this problematic location.

I usually love walking into firehouse. Everyone is friendly and of course the greeting. However, the one located on Coliseum has declined a bit in their friendliness. The two ladies behind the counter were more involved in their conversation while making eye contact with me rather than saying hi or someone will be right with you. There was no urgency or concern for my visit. Restaurant is clean and fully stocked. To add salt, an employee walks in and they mockingly greet. And another customer now entered with a greet. Wow!

My first time trying them. Not bad. I was surprised they had wheat bread as a choice of breads you wanted but I didn't find that out until after I ordered.

Went to the one on Coliseum Drive at around 4:15 on Feb 1. The gentleman that took our order was Amazing. So polite and friendly and helpful. They were out of the chicken meatballs and he suggested a great alternative. The young lady making the sandwiches we ordered brought them out to us and let us know which one was which and she was Incredibly sweet and friendly! I would definitely go there again, especially if they are there. Would also definitely recommend their food - it was so good and you get a lot for what you spend. My husband usually finishes a foot long fast and because there was so much meat in his sub he could only eat half. I would give this location 10 out of 10 if I could

Found fibers in my food the engineer. I’ve had this sandwich before and it was delicious. This time it was as if they baked a cloth into the bread. Very disappointing considering we spent almost 50.00 for two sandwiches on DoorDash. The location asked if I could come pick it up but it was my lunch at work and we can’t leave. Just not ideal.
