This is one of my favorite brunch spots. I have a friend that meets me monthly and the call or text will start are you free for brunch tomorrow? Sure were? And both of us text First Watch. This is going on now close to a year. I’m right now deciding when I text the July invite it will just be brunch at First Watch. Why? First the place is awesome centrally located at least for us, at Von Schilling. The vibe and energy as soon as you walk in you pick up the positive energy from the crowd already there enjoying themselves. And I have never walked in and been able to see more than 3 empty tables. They just stay busy. And the crew from Greeters, to servers, to the cashier at meals end are so polite and friendly they want to make their customers feel welcome. Ok the food. Wow what a great menu if you want traditional breakfast they have it eggs, any way, sausage, bacon, toast. But step it up they have awesome skillets that have amazing components you might not have thought to use for brunch. They also have soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch. And in addition to the regular fountain sodas. There’s a selection of fruit juice pick me up/ nutrition drinks.
First Watch is definitely a dining stop to add to your list. You will leave satisfied with a smile on your face. And making plans for your next visit.

The food and service was great. The app really helped with the wait.

Understanding they are busy. We came to this location since we were in the area. This is our 3rd location we have been to and there’s always and issue. Was told there was 3-6 min wait to be seated for a party of 2. The manager I’m assuming understood and gave me 2 gift cards to make up for it. Seems there are issues every time we come. It’s not worth it

Tried the Shrimp and Grits. The taste was very good however I had to eat it with a spoon because the grits were so watery they went straight through the fork. Our server broke a glass bussing a table behind us. The dustpan he had to use was basically a waste of time. Please provide servers with proper tools for cleaning. He did manage to get almost all of the glass up but had to use napkins because the dustpan was so raggedy only big pieces could be swept up.

We asked for coffee and never received it. I watched our waitress greet another table, upon their arrival she came with coffee in hand already. We never got water until we asked for it. Saw our waitress 3 times, to order, ask us how was our food, and to give me the check, which was wrong. She didn't even bring our food out. I still tipped bc that's how I'm raised, but ppl need to do better!

We got to this place at 11:15 am and were told 10 people were ahead of us and it would be a 35 min wait. We waited and noticed more people were called ahead of us. So we asked and then we were told 5 more groups were ahead. We waited and 7 were called. When we inquired again they said we were 3rd in line that with us waiting 50 mins. They explained that people who book online first get moved to the head of the line as soon as they show up. We wouldn't have waited an hour for nothing had we know this. Once we left we got a text saying we were next and then we got a text saying our table was ready and we had 2 mins to get there... in less than a minute we got another text saying our table was canceled. I refuse to eat here after this type of service. 4 other groups of people walked out for the same reason.

It was a Birthday Br3akfast for me. I had the Trifecta. The banana nut pancake,Million dollar bacon also had the wheat toast, chicken sausage and egg over medium. Yummy ,Yummy Yummy. Oh try a mimosa or two and see how you like it. Service was great and the freshness of the food bodes well. I had a great filling experience. Okay... the bathroom confused me just a tad bit.

Paid $17 dollars for an omelet and literally received only 5 pieces of diced tomatoes that weren't even on the inside the omelet.

During our recent visit to Hampton, Virginia, my husband and I discovered an amazing restaurant for breakfast. The staff at the reception area were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our waitress was both professional and kind. The food was so delicious that we ended up visiting twice!
We ordered the Works Omelet, plain multigrain pancakes, and the Frittata Rustica Omelet, accompanied by drinks including Morning Meditation, a kale tonic, and Purple Haze. Everything we ordered was fantastic. I would definitely eat here again!

Most unorganized place we been to while in Virginia. Bald guy with the tablet would rather have people standing when there are open booths because the kitchen is backed up. That's just stupid guys. Sit people and tell them there may be a wait. Can I offer you a drink or coffee??? Pretty simple....We left. And ate at Mission BBQ. And so glad we did. What are cool and yummy place that supports an amazing cause.
