If you're tired of disappointing Chinese food that leaves you feeling guilty and slightly queasy, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Your taste buds (and probably your stomach) will thank you. Trust me, it's a game-changer!
We have been ordering takeout from Fortune Garden for over 25 years. The quality of the food has never disappointed us. It is always excellent. The waitstaff is always friendly and appreciative. I think most of its business is takeout. I rarely see diners at tables when picking up my order. Perhaps if the owners were to rethink the design and decor of the restaurant, they might find more customers dining in. Then again, maybe that is not what the owners want to do.
Probably the best Chinese food I've had in the area. I have a hunch their woks are as seasoned as the chef - everything is skillfully executed, with the subtle, smoky savory notes I've come to expect from a well-practiced artisan. The vegetables are consistently tender, crisp, and flavorful, with the right balance of sauce and seasoning to let the ingredients sing individually, and harmonize effortlessly into a wonderfully memorable dish.
