Update: March 2025 I recently revisited the restaurant and was very disappointed. Apparently the chef and menu has changed a couple of times since December 2024. We tried to keep a positive attitude but the pork chop we were served was not fully cooked. My entree came with collards and I asked for a side of kale. I was given a side of collards and they insisted it was kale. It was not. The chef even joked that he had "hot sauce and vinegar". I felt that this was a very inappropriate comment to make. I ordered rice and chicken to take home and when I got home the chicken was also undercooked. The management and waitstaff are so kind and make for a lovely visit but as of right now the food is not great it pains me to say.
12/2024******Wish I could give more stars. Chef was on point. Everything tastes fresh, staff was friendly. Drinks were amazing and the cheesecake is an experience. Food disappeared before I could take pictures!
The three of us had mac and cheese, sauteed kale, crab cake, burgers, samon, and jumbo wings.

The overall experience was trash..the manager was disrespectful and rude..and they give off big racist! DO NOT GO TO EAT HERE! We came in at 6:30 pm with a reservation for our party, 2.5 hours later all we had was water and a a few of our people with us got the drinks they ordered and 2 were wrong, one had alcohol in it and was given to my sister who does not drink liquor! Then the manager tried to block the door when we decided to leave due to the long wait and demanding we pay for the drinks (even the ones we didn’t receive) or she was calling the law lol..meanwhile people of non color that came in after us had not only their drinks but entire meal as well..so yeah needless to say wont ever be going there again! It’s a lot more I can say but that’s the just of it..

Service suck food never came after waiting 45 mins. Sever add drinks to our drinks order we didn't have. Overall service was horrible. Ran out of food never told anyone about it. Never go there if you want to have a nice meal. I wish I can give a zero Stars but that's not an option. Really messed up valentine dinner for a group of friends getting together. I repeat NEVER GO THERE.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to leave a review based on food because I wasn't able to be serviced. I booked a reservation for 2.14.25 3 weeks prior to this date. When I initially called someone said they'd have their manager call back and they never did. I called back the next day and set my reservation. Today I called to confirm my reservation time and I was told that my reservation was never written down and there was a buyout for this evening. I just wanted to do something special for my children due to a recent loss and they ruined our evening. Because of this, I'd never patronize this establishment.

This place offers a pleasant atmosphere; however, if you are coming hungry, be prepared for your blood sugar to drop even more due to the longer wait time you have to wait. I got there with my co-workers for lunch. We were 10, and we waited maybe approximately 1:15 minutes. Only one server and one cook. How can a restaurant have only one cook, and we arrived at lunchtime on Thursday? I ordered half a chicken with coconut rice and sweet plantain; the rice was soggy and bland. We also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese, enormous enough for sharing with three people, but my co-workers were not impressed.

The atmosphere is very chill, cozy and vibrant at the same time!
I had NYE dinner with friends in hopes of enjoying my last meal in 2024.
Well... failed!
My salmon dish, undercooked. Tried again... fish with scales... no Bueno!
Oh well, thank goodness for the bartender because my fresh margarita was on point!! Three to be exact!
You can press your luck on the food, but the drinks 10/10.
Enjoy!

The atmosphere is great, the service was fantastic but the value for the food was dubious.my $47 rib eye steak was gristly and the prices overall were just a bit high for the value received. We would go back for the sandwiches that looked good and were more reasonably priced.

If the food sucks, at least hit a home run on the service….
Owner came and checked in on our table more than our server did. Waiting an hour and a half for a meal is absolutely mind boggling to me. I’m not sure if the restaurant has poor work flow, or what (trying to give the benefit of the doubt) but something here needs to change. Everything took forever. And for all 4 tables that were in Sunday night.
Steaks were WELL over cooked for how they were ordered (med rare). Didn’t even bother finishing mine with absolutely no flavor, along with most of the sides.
Cook needs help, the owner should be proficient enough to jump on the line and help him. Same thing with service. A table would leave and no one would start busing the table or slowly take away glasses. I almost felt inclined to tell the guests who were coming in not to even bother with this place.
This place has some serious work to do. I am so hopeful they can turn it around. The concept is there, just missing the mark on execution

Cozy atmosphere and the place gives the vibe of being upscale.. The prices give you that as well. Our 3 NY Strips, sides, and 1 drink a piece were $235 after they removed charges, which leads us into the rest of the reasons why the score is so low.
Disappointed isn't enough. I would strongly advise people to steer clear of this place until they find new management, the owner changes or something else drastic happens.
We checked in at 530 on Sunday for our reservation. It took 30min from being seated to get our drinks from the bar. The drinks were decent enough but the wait made it not worth ordering a second round.
We ordered Filet, NY Strip and Ribeye all medium rare. They notified us right away they were out a Rib Eye 1.5hrs after opening. We changed our order to two NY Strips and a Filet. 5 min later we were informed they were also out of Filet (a chop house without steaks at 530pm on a Sunday)?? After waiting over 1hr from placing our order we asked for the status of our food. Our steaks came out 1hr20min after we ordered, well done with next to no flavor on them at all and the amount of fat rivaled Golden Corral. These may have been the worst steaks any of us had ever been served. Our appetizers showed up well after our steaks, so much so that we asked for our check before the last one showed up because we had been there nearing two hours and had places to be.
As for the appetizers, the truffle fries were the only one worth eating. Our mac n cheese was somehow stringy like it had cheese but it lacked flavor entirely and felt dry on the tongue. The mashed potatoes were edible but nothing to write home about. A side of broccoli was 3 florets with no flavor, we added butter ourselves. And our brussel sprouts never showed up.
The lady that came to our table a few times to help us, had a shirt on that said Manager/Owner.. and she and her wait staff did treat us well. They removed charges and gave us a gift card for $25. When the steaks are $40 a piece, that's hardly enough to entice me to come back and I certainly wouldn't take the trip just to be disappointed again.
One of us in our group is a long time server at another local restaurant and said she wants to go back just to help them get things right. Myself and my partner have traveled the world eating everywhere we go and this, by far, was the largest disappointment yet.

I’m leaving this review based on my second patronage to this restaurant. My husband, our daughter and myself visited first, sometime in October, we had a lovely experience. I had lamb, my husband had 8oz filet mignon, together we ordered macaroni and cheese and Brussels Sprouts. All offerings were delicious! They were so good that we decided to return for a second time
Upon returning, we left confused and annoyed. This time around we got six wings with mild sauce as an appetizer, they were a joke. If you’ve ever had the wings that Pizza Hut offers, you’ve had the wings at Cibus — very tiny. We persisted on because maybe it was a fluke?
For main, I order the same filet mignon that my husband had our first visit and my husband ordered the “special” being “salmon bites tossed in honey over pasta”. When the food arrived to our table, we were so confused. My husband’s salmon over pasta dish was a filet of baked salmon and asparagus over rice — the manager came by to tell us there was some kind of miscommunication, still we persisted on. My plate had four poorly cooked baby Bella mushrooms, three pieces of sliced onion and a cut of steak that was not filet mignon.
We ushered over the server to address the steak issue, she took our plate and said she’d be back. When she return, she informed me that, “it was absolutely filet mignon, but there was a different chef than usual and they cut it wrong”. I replied to say that filet mignon has minimal fat and is served in a medallion — I’m thinking this was a sirloin or another flat fatty cut of steak. They gave us our money back for the steak.
We left feeling like we should have sent everything back. None of the offerings were delicious. I left feeling completely insulted. To be looked at in my face and for someone to not only lie and say that this was a filet mignon but also to try and tell me that there is a chef in house cutting steaks and they happen to cut this one wrong is hilarious in hindsight.
If I could impart any knowledge to Cibus, it would be to not lie about basic food knowledge to anyone because you don’t know their food knowledge background. My family owns a restaurant and I was a chef for around eight years before being a SAHM. Be blessed and do better 🖤
EDIT: I’m still confused on you’re cutting steaks in the kitchen, do you all buy a full cow and cut prior to service? If that’s the case, how would you be able to serve a filet mignon—if it is being “pre cut” . ADDITIONALLY, it wasn’t like I had an above normal amount of fat on filet mignon, I had a completely different cut. This dished pasted two hands before it got to my table. I did say that I was not satisfied and did not want a remake as you all tried to sell a sirloin as filet mignon
