Wow, we had brunch here and this spot is absolutely worth ordering at. Ben was our server and was friendly and provided great recommendations for our group. We loved the blackened pompano, oyster shooters, and kettle blue cheese chips.
Party of 9. Ages 64, 35-37, 11, 9, 7. Those who ordered fresh loved their food. Those who ordered fish sandwiches or fish and chips did not. There is no kids menu, which we knew ahead of time. The 3 kids ate fries and salads. but didn't even finish them..not even the fries. The crunchy chicken sandwich was not crunchy. The fish portion was generous, but 3 times the size of the regular hamburger type bun. The breading on the fish and chips order was gritty, disappointing and...
Oysters were really fresh and well prepared. The main entrees were really rich in flavor.
The blue cheese chip appetizer was very surprising in flavor. The blue cheese sauce was sweeter than I expected and the blue cheese crumbles were not pugnant / flavor was very smooth and balanced. The tomatoes and other small ingredients were very complimentary to the flavor and texture.
The Cajun seasoning for the Cajun pasta and jambalaya was fantastic...
