So I heard about this place from the owner last year and I’m just getting around to trying it out. I’m big on customer service which was awesome here I must say and I ordered 6 dry rub wings and Philly steak egg rolls. I really can’t comment on the wings because I mean they’re wings ??♀️. However, the egg rolls were given to me as shown and I was not okay with that. They definitely should have been replaced due to them being burnt and really hard. Would this be the last time I’d eat here idk I believe in chances but I’m definitely not ordering these again.

Want some good old Southern home cooking? This is the place to go! Everything is made to order, so be prepared to get a nice drink at the bar and vibe with the people at your table. My family visited for my cousins birthday. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The loaded baked potatoes, crabe cakes, and green with turkey had everybody dancing in their seats. Lol. That's how you know it was good. There was also music trivia and trivia to engage with on the TV, which was very entertaining. Once again roaming the countryside on my way to Richmond and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a place. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but open the doors and WHAM! First thing that hit me was the music and then the smiles from the staff. The place as packed and I soon found out why...amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere, and amazing customers. The collard greens are worth the trip to here alone! I will be back again for sure!

As a Hampton native who now lives across the country I am always excited to visit George. The ambiance, the entertainment and of course the food! George has it all, I leave with both my soul and my stomach completely satisfied. I just wish a place like George existed when I lived in Hampton!
