Service was great, friendly and inviting. Conversation with the bartender was a breath of fresh air. Kitchen staff gave a good recommendation, Loved the atmosphere. All the trinkets add a personal touch and give character to the establishment. However the recommended Rueben sandwich would have been perfect with the stuffed ingredients in rye. By the time I got to the second half of my sandwich, it had soaked up so much juice, it was rendered useless in the overall flavor profile...
Usually would have pictures to post but the company I was with and the atmosphere of Goody's was too good to interrupt. Our server Courtney was attentive and pleasant. Great portion sizes for the reuben and beef and cheese sandwiches. Good laid back place to chill. Fully enjoyed myself
I was at an all- day event down the street, decided to walk over to Goody’s for lunch. Place is a total dive bar, which I love. Not very crowded at all, easy to get a spot at the bar for a to-go order. Quick service with the menu. I ended up getting the hot pastrami, as well as the Texan for a friend. Served with come slaw and a bag of chips, the price was $13.95. I wasn’t expecting much, honestly.
