Was told that this place had wonderful food. That was a huge overstatement. Fried flounder was very very greasy. Coleslaw was too runny. Salad was good. Fried mushrooms were OK but lacking.
Atmosphere was good. Lots of tvs and nice pool tables.
Service was nice but slow. One person trying to take care of everyone was overwhelming.

As a Black man, I’ve been to plenty of bars and grills over the years, but this one truly stands out. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed — not just as a customer, but as a person. The staff treated me with warmth, respect, and real conversation, which goes a long way in making a place feel like home.
The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, with a great mix of music and friendly faces from all walks of life. The food? Absolutely on point — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and served hot. I could tell they take pride in both their kitchen and their service.
What impressed me most was how inclusive and easygoing the environment was. Everyone seemed to be there to have a good time, share a laugh, and enjoy great food and drinks. That’s how a community space should feel.
I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends. This is the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and feel like you belong — no matter who you are.

I ordered the grilled chicken entree with mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli to go. My food was ready when I arrived. It was delicious.
This isn't a fancy place by no means. However, if you want good food at reasonable prices and a real friendly environment, go to Josh's. Their Delmonico steak was delicious and so were the onion rings. When you get a drink in a red solo cup, you know it's about to be good. Just go to Josh's.
