Closed on days when you’re supposed to be open. Never have ingredients to make drinks. Using restaurant depot cups instead of Kung Fu Tea official cups. Not to mention the cups are smaller in size than the official ones. Meaning you’re paying the same price for less of your drink. Place has gone down the drain. Truly unfortunate.

Came in the other week cause I was craving boba and macaroons. My usual boba place is across the water but I didn’t feel like driving over there so I just went with whatever the first suggestion was and I have to say, I was very happy with the outcome. Every time I get boba I have to get any Matcha flavored one, this being it always hits, so that’s exactly what I did, I got a large Iced Matcha Milk Tea with boba (fun fact I didn’t know this until after I downloaded the app, but the milk that it was made with was lactose free so that made me even happier and definitely explains why my stomach wasn’t in shambles after I drank this), but that aside it was absolutely delicious 10/10 would recommend. Moving on to the macaroons, they were also very delicious, they were the perfect amount of sweet and the perfect size. My all-time favorite macaroon is any birthday cake flavor one so I got two of these and they pleased my taste buds. The other flavors I got were Vanilla, Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream and then this fruity cereal one (which was described to be as tasting like fruity pebbles). All of them were tasty and I will definitely be coming back again. 10/10 would recommend giving this place a try. Until next time. Also the staff was extremely nice.

Disappointed- they say they close at 9 but basically won’t serve more then half the menu if you aren’t there by 830. Slushes, coffees etc. just close at 8:30 if you want your employees out by 9. We arrived at 8:40 and the slush machines were already wash. If a time says it closes at 9 I wouldn’t expect to not serve a slushy drink (a main drink of their) a half hour before they “close” it’s also false advertising saying they close at 9 but don’t serve more then half the drinks after 8:30? Why not just close at 8:30 if you want to close by 9?

The employee was GREAT.
I ordered two drinks. First one I paid for brown sugar and got regular boba. I ordered with less ice and there was none. It was a pistachio latte that tasted only like coffee and no syrup. It was nasty!

The second drink was a Thai tea and it was honestly one of the Worst Thai teas I’ve ever had. Also I paid for coffee popping boba and it was regular boba once again.

Very disappointed in this location.

I went with my mom in 2023, it was her first time trying boba, I've been to the location in Newport News before, and had a good experience, so when I found one finally opening up closer to me, I was ecstatic!! The inside is doooo spacious, even though I was an anxious mess, but I've always been like that in public settings. It was SO good, I forgot exactly what I'd ordered, but I def wasn't disappointed. If I'm ever able to go back, I most definitely will!!

Fun Bubble Tea location.

It was good, but not my favorite.
It was also a little slow even though there was only one person in front of me.

Macarons were also nice.

The machine for shaking the tea was awesome and the highlight of the visit.

On the plus side: I agree with other reviewers, the place is clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, the music is not too loud, and the beverages are well made.

From a food point of view, my only complaint is that honeydew has been out every time I’ve visited.

If the review ended here, it would get five stars.

However, while tipping, especially in non-full service situations such as this is controversial in the US, I’m always willing to do it provided it goes to the employees as required by labor law. To evaluate this, I typically ask an employee if the tips go to the employees. In this case, the response was no, and as such I cannot recommend this establishment at this time.

My recommendation would be for the employees to contact the labor board for assistance and for the employer to either end asking for tips or pay the tips to employees as required by law.

It was a pleasant place to visit, great customer service and they had a great selection of teas and bubble teas I only wish they had more non dairy selections.

We ordered the Oreo milk tea wow and Oreo coffee wow. The service was friendly and fast. We got our drinks a few minutes after we ordered. I wasn’t a big fan of the Oreo in my milk tea, it may be a texture thing for me? The boba was soft and chewy. They used lactaid milk in my drink. In my opinion, that took away from the flavor of milk tea, it was a little bland for me. Overall, not a bad location with great service!
