Lookie here...🤤those bignets?! Sheesh! The food and the drinks were so good! The only complaints is that we were seated in a spot that wasnt great bc of foot traffic and the servers forgot about us for a little bit. But other than that the experience was amazing. Thirst quenched and hunger satisfied! I hope to go back a few more times before they close the doors for good. 😔
Found ourselves down in Phoebus and decided to grab some brunch at Mango Mangeaux. We were greeted cheerily and the staff was very sweet, restaurant was pretty full on a Sunday afternoon. Overall we had a positive experience, however there were a few issues.
We ordered some beignets and the croissant basket to start, and got the beignets promptly. They were hot/fresh, filling was good. They seemed to maybe be a bit doughy, but I thought I was imagining things...

Came in by myself for brunch and felt totally at home. The hostess seated me right away and my server was friendly and quick. I had the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely perfect
