Went here on Christmas eve for lunch. It did not disappoint. Our first time here and everyone was in a very nice. They ended up giving us a complimentary brownie and free sandwich coupon! The food is great but every single time we go at night, they have terrible attitudes!! How are you mad at me because I requested a side with no breadcrumbs and you proceeded to give me that side with breadcrumbs. Yes I am going to speak up, this isn’t a $10 meal so I am asking for what I requested at the register. Work on your attitude if you want to serve the public. This is our 3rd time in a row going and someone has a damn attitude. The Virginia Beach location is TOP TIER!

My fiance and I came in with about 20m close to closing. Immediately I was greeted by Ka’Liem and Simone at the register which was nice considering we came so close to closing time. They offered us samples of the pulled chicken (AMAZING btw) and helped us pick out our meal. The apple cobbler wasn’t extremely sweet but was sweet enough. 10/10. Ms Grace took care of us at the table and was very attentive to our needs. The night staff had a great atmosphere among them and as a customer, I can feel it. I didn’t feel rushed at all and they let us eat in peace. Will definitely be coming back more often

The staff was pleasant and the food was AMAZING! I had the Black Plate - Shrimp on the BBQ, greens, and macaroni and cheese. My food was DELICIOUS! The manager Eric was definitely on his job, and ensured everyone in the restaurant was satisfied. Job Well Done!!!!

Great and friendly people. Food was hot and fresh. My only complaint were the greens were way to spicy with red pepper flakes. Like some was carried away. Not everyone can do spicy and the sign for the green beans is misleading. But overall , great place and atmosphere.
