Philly cheesesteak cafe - Hampton Location

Overrated and expensive for no reason!!! Got 2 12” Cheesesteak subs(large), 4 tenders w/fries and 10 piece wings w/fries and an egg roll …no drinks….$80🤯😤. Cheesesteak was flat…meat wasn’t the best quality for the cost of the sub ($16.95)🤔 also the toppings were subpar, seems like they used taco toppings (lettuce and tomato chunks). The cashier came off a bit lackluster and tired while placing the order. Smelt like the cook was on a smoke break as I was sitting waiting for the food to be prepared. This was not what I was expecting from this business, such a disappointment! Definitely a one and done, main reason being the price for the quality not worth it!
There are better options for cheesesteaks in the area!

Yo y'all are bugging. Why would yall send dry fries and a dry steaksub??????? No vegetables and no condiments? When I specifically included it in the selections and asked for condiments for my fries? What are yall, doing be for real. Just waited an hour for it to be delivered for what ???? Dry dog food? Dry cat food? Unseasonably fries. What are yall doing. Be for real. Be so for real.

Absolutely fantastic cheese steak! Ordered mine all-the-way and the hot peppers added a wonderful kick. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

I tried this place twice and the fries are not good. They look like they are cooked in old grease or cooked to long no season or salt on them . The cheesesteaks are good but for those high prices everything needs to be on point. Also why did the chicken Philly taste like curry chicken ? That is not a chicken Philly and I should know because I’m from Chester / Philadelphia pa and this is not it.

TicTok got me. First no one that worked there was from Philly. Owner was from Ny , main employee was from Georgia and forgot where the last person was from. They messed up my friends food so he didn’t eat. My Philly was mad salty and dry. Fries taste like some frozen fries you get from Foodlion! Safe to say I won’t be back! Go Commamders.

I'm guessing they took the advice from some of the previous reviews and decided to up the spices. I didn't think Curry would have been the main spice of choice. These are practically Curry chicken sandwiches. It's wasn't bad but it wasn't a chicken Philly I ever had. If that's how they make em in Philly my bad, but I'll just take plain seasoned chicken. Curry is a strong season that goes well with rice not on a sandwich imo

My first time trying this place and it was disgusting. I have never had a soaked /wet piece of bread on a freshly ordered Philly steak sandwich!!! They charge for onions as a topping and to change your cheese from american to provolone. The cashier was very polite! Never will go again.

This food is DISGUSTING! The Philly cheese steak has no flavor the meat taste old, just gross!!! The wings are terrible hot sauce is extremely hot makes the chicken taste overly salty. The fries are nasty. The empanadas are soaked in oil totally inedible. Do not waste your money these people do not know how to cook. I am so disappointed. I should have know something was wrong when I the restaurant does not even smell like food.

Can't believe this is real life. I thought this only happened on tik toks or IG. SOOOO here we go. I order a chicken Philly, steak Philly with no cheese, and 2 philly egg rolls. The PHILLY DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING ON IT BUT STEAK-UM MEAT AND BREAD. SAME WITH THE CHICKEN PHILLY. HOW ON EARTH IS THIS A REAL PLACE THAT'S CALLED PHILLY CHEESE STEAKS CAFE. I'M BEYOND MAD WE SPENT OVER 50.00 FOR SOME BREAD AND MEAT. NO SEASONINGS ON THE MEAT, NO ONIONS, NO GREEN PEPPERS, NO LETTUCE, NO MAYO, NO MUSTARD, NO NOTHING BUT BREAD AND MEAT! THE CHICKEN EGG ROLL WAS DECENT AND THATS WHAT THE 1 STAR WAS FOR! NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT HERE. I'M JUST OVERALL SHOCKED THEY GOT ME LIKE THIS.

My wife and I had the Philly Cheesesteak and the Chicken Philly. Both were mediocre and weren’t what I grew to love in Philadelphia. The bread was wrong and chicken was shredded. Take Philly off and just call them cheesesteak.

I got the fries and 2 Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. Really good, hot, and well seasoned. Perfect portion size. Personal preference I like that the Philly was just meat and cheese and not all the extras like peppers and onions…. Simple and delicious.
