I’ll be coming back tomorrow for free beer!! ?? When I walked in there was several people waiting to check out or get their to go orders and more walked in after me. This place was busy. I knew what I wanted, chicken Pho and the Pho-jito. This was my first time here so I know I’ll be back to enjoy the ambiance and more Pho-jitos at the bar. Must visit earlier in the day as they close early, 830pm. Although, I was there closer to closing time I was not the only one. Bartender and waitress were attentive and friendly.Parking: This location is in a shopping plaza with many other eating establishments so the parking did not take me long to find but most closer spots are taken and many cars just parked in the way of traffic.

I'm giving this 3 stars because of my past experiences but the last few months I'd give 1 star. This is my second time ordering food from them when they open and I am next to positive they are serving the leftovers from the night before. The veggies are limp and we're clearly not cut that morning, the meat is colorful (literally), and the broth tastes just awful. I have always had good experiences with the food previously so I'm not sure if practices have changed but the morning food is next to inedible. I can't speak to the afternoon though. I really hope this changes because I used to love this spot.

My husband and I came here last night. He ordered pho and I ordered Bun Bo Hue. This review is specifically about the Bun Bo Hue I ordered, which I do not recommend. If you want REAL Bun Bo Hue, I suggest you go somewhere else.I was excited to see that BBH was on the menu and when I asked the waitress to remove the pig blood (which is normally one of the ingredients of this dish), she looked at me like I’m crazy and quietly said, “This dish doesn’t come with pig blood…” I immediately knew at that point that it wasn’t going to turn out to be BBH. *** The broth should be red because of the satay which is made of oil from the amaretto seed, shrimp paste, pork bones, lemongrass, and chile paste!!! *** These are the key ingredients that make this different from pho and also makes the dish very spicy.I wish I took a photo of this dish because you can’t imagine the shock on my face when I saw the broth was almost clear. As soon as I tasted the broth, it was clear to me that they used pho broth. I then asked my waitress for the satay bc it was clearly missing. She then looked at me like I was crazy and stupid. I saw she was asking her coworkers about what satay is and I overheard one of the guys saying, “Oh she’s asking about the chilli oil”, which I already had in front of me.She came back and asked me if I was talking about the chili oil and in my head, I was like “obviously not??? I have it in front of me already, why would I ask? I’m not stupid.” She proceeded to ask me what satay consists of and offered to just give me shrimp paste. Like ??????A restaurant like this should really understand what the dishes they are making consists of and educate their employees, if they’re going to put it on their menu. Otherwise, take it off the menu. The reason I have given 2 stars was because the extra star was more so for the service that we received overall, which wasn’t bad. I’m just extremely disappointed at the lack of knowledge with the dishes they’re serving.

Good stuff! Not like most pho restaurants in that when you order beef tendon, they actually give you big chunks of flavorful tendon! Servers were attentive and pleasant. I've had better pho twice before, at hole in the wall joints in a larger city, but for this area, outstanding! I will be back!

Pho and bubble tea are consistently delicious. If you do pick up, they are on time with having your order ready and well packaged for you, so nothing spills when you're driving.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in the immediate Hampton area. The staff is very friendly, and food came out so quick and was delicious.

I have been here a multitude of times and on this night I encountered a “manager” with red lipstick and glasses who told me she had thrown my food away after ordering online. Then she attempted to create a situation with me after the fact repeatedly saying she was a manager. Ewww. Disgusting

Do yourself a favor and visit this Pho 79! The Pho broth is delicious, comes out piping hot and the rich broth flavors hits the spot that your Vietnamese mama would when she made it at home! There's lots of other options if you want rice dishes with tasty grilled meats, noodles or other noodle soups other than Pho... like Hu Thieu, Bun Boe Hue or Hoanh Thanh (won ton soup), Hu Thieu Do Bien aka seafood noodle soup! All broths come out flavorful. Establishment is clean and well kept (cute Viet-themed decor) and there's nice bar area with ample seating. Take out crowd is a constant flow, and the staff is very friendly. Near the Coliseum area and the parking lot is plentiful and for the most part, safe. I'll be back many more times!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options and the staff can help you with what you need or likeParking: Plenty of parking, shopping center
