On Sunday, his family went to Mr. Willie's estate, he was pleasantly surprised Willie was very pleasant and cheerful, he created an incredibly pleasant and homely atmosphere for us, the meat he prepared for us with his own hands was excellent, I recommend it to everyone, and I also want to praise the waiter C.C., a very nice nice girl can see something about customers with importance, bravo C.C. I'm heartily wishing Mr. Willie success in business.

We met the owner Will outside his restaurant. He told us he was from Memphis and had “real” bbq. He even stated he only cooked channel catfish because the meat was whiter and tastier. We were sold! We went in and had a sample of a smoked brisket and chicken sandwich. It was delicious! Smoke didn’t over power, and the meat was tasty and tender. It was on a brioche bun that only added to the flavor. His bartender Banko served us a couple of shots of bourbon to wash the sandwich down. Will stated they have music on the weekends. This is a good stop to make if you’re in the Hampton area.

I was looking for a restaurant that is right across the street from the smokehouse have heard nothing but good things about the smokehouse but was meeting friends across the street asked an employee where it was and he looked me straight in the face and said he did not know it's very important to be kind being pompous and ignorant will never get you far in life good luck to you you know who you are

I ate here with a friend a for the first time on a Friday evening. We arrived around 7:30, and there may have been about four or five other customers. My initial thoughts is that it wasn't very welcoming because we weren't greeted by anyone. We had to walk up to the bar just to get assistance. We almost turned around and left, but someone behind the bar finally said that we could take a seat wherever we liked. The menu choices were decent, but they were out of a couple items. I wanted to order the catfish and shrimp combo, but they were out of shrimp. I also wanted to try the collards, but they were also out of that. I settled on the yams, which were good and coleslaw, which was different and a little salty, but not bad. My friend ordered the pull pork sandwich and mac and cheese, which he said was good. Overall, the food was good, but not great. The prices were reasonable compared to other places I've been to. There were DJs setting up to play music as we ate our meal. They weren't scheduled to start until 8:30, so we didn't get to experience that entertainment. I believe this restaurant has been opened less than a year, so I hope there are plans for improvement. It has a lot of potential if they upgrade the furniture and improve the customer service. The staff was friendly once they started taking care of us. I would visit again after some time has passed just to see if improvements have been made.

Seemed about average. I eat at a lot of BBQ joints and this one was OK. Not bad not great. Atmosphere was OK. Service was also average. I wouldn't avoid the place but also not going out of my way to eat there either.

Food: Ribs and wings were delicious and cooked to perfection. BBQ sauce was excellent. Blue cheese dressing could have been more robust. I arrived at 2:00p and brisket was not ready yet. Shrimp and Mac & Cheese were not available. Service: I ate at the bar. The bartender was personable, professional, and prompt.
