Not sure if this place is still open or not. I looked it up and saw that it was opened today. Tried to have it delivered, when they were preparing it, they gave me two numbers, one from the driver telling me the time it was coming and another one saying that the building was permanently closed. I'm very confused because Google maps will let you know when a restaurant is available or not. Just frustrated because you went through the process of taking my money but when I tried to reach the restaurant, no answer. I'll just call my bank Monday morning and receive it that way. Just straight irritated right now.

Sunday 29:11 Soul Food is by far one of my favorite soul food spots in the area. I came for the first time on Thursday, and the food was so good that I came back the very next day. Everything is full of flavor, the portions are generous, and you can tell the food is made with care. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend you check it out—you won’t be disappointed

The first time was dine-in on a Sunday and okay, but my second time here 9/11/2025, in which I carried out.The front hostess was nice and I was greeted with a smile. The food was not good and too greasy! The whitening too big, green beans old and greasy, candied yams too much butter, sweet potatoe pie mushy and extremely too sweet had some kind of dripping on top, wings and mac 'n cheese was okay. I ending up throwing the green beans, the whitening and candied yams away. Soulfood is to be flavorful but seeing and tasting grease is not acceptable!

Food is too expensive compared to other Soul food places in the area not all that tasty for the price.

This place is what your looking for in soul food. My son and I tore that food up!!!! I will come here often. Im bringing family and friends.

I ordered hot spinach and crab dip it was a little to loose but taste good, Salisbury Steak didn't have much season if any ,then the turkey wings it was dry and had been sitting under a heat light or in a warmer to long. I have been cooking for years so I know.a little something. Would I got back that's the question???

My husband and I stopped in for lunch after searching for a good place to eat on Google! I am so glad it led us to this restaurant! We were immediately greeted with a smile! Our server, Erica, was very nice! Very attentive! Food was delicious! I had the lamb chops and my husband has the chicken wings! We started with the fried Angel eggs! Everything was hot and tasty!! We will definitely be returning!

It was very nice. The food was good. We celebrate my mom 60th birthday there. Staff was nice we really enjoy the atmosphere. We will be returning and would recommend.

Ambiance is a 4. Just opened in January, the place is clean, bright and nicely appointed with fresh flowers on tables, mirrored side table outside of restroom, nice sconces. I was told their Thursdays are great for wings, co tails and love band.
Service is a 5 for server service. Our waitress keeps coming to our table to check in on how we like our food, etc. Slight criticism is that I ordered a Cobb salad with grilled chicken and it took about 15 to 20 minutes.
Food is a 3 because complimentary corn bread was on the salty side though served warm and smells buttery
The Cobb salad veggies were fresh. Two much veggie to protein proportions.

Lex was amazing at the bar. The restaurant was very clean and service was swift. The quality of the food was amazing. This is the best soul food I’ve tasted so far in the 757. I will be back. THE SNAPPER!!!
