My least favorite smoothie place ever :/ Some of the workers here have no idea how to make smoothies. I'm not sure if it's the training, or if they just don't care... but I've never had an outstanding visit here. This time, I got the Mountain Man Crunch, which was probably the best I've tried there. I would suggest they add more ice to the recipe because this one was extremely soupy. I know smoothies are supposed to be thin but you shouldn't be able to drink them like water. Every sip I took reminded me of eating a food you don't like but you have to eat it because you're starving. Obviously I didn't have to eat it but I couldn't waste my money like that. I had to ingest something... dare I try the monstrosity in front of me?? I felt like death, my bones were aching because the thoughts of being stuck with this on a desert island with no other food options became part of my imagination. It was scary, I may wish this on my worst enemy. Me being a college student, I can't afford much food so I rely on the university dollars. Now they're all I have being as though the university cafeteria is closed. Empty calories, empty wallet, empty inside. HU, congratulations on taking the tip of the trash iceberg :'-(

I was at an all day field trip at Hampton University the other day and got a little tired, so I decided to stop here for a pick me up. I had thee best Kale Based smoothie (accompanied with almond milk, passion fruit, and pineapple) here! It blew TSC's "Detox Island Green" out of the water. I also got an enegizer suppliment added to it and it perked me right up. Planet smoothie gave me everything I needed, both delicious and healthy. I looked them up and apprently they're a chain smoothie place (3rd in the nation) by the same owner of Moe's. I wonder why more people in HR aren't talking about Planet Smoothie, but it's most likely because the only HR location is located inside the student center of Hampton University. I'm going to need them to expand with more locations in the near future.
