I order two fish and chicken meals. Both meats were fried in very old grease to the point my food tasted so bad I threw the whole plate away. The cornbread taste as if it was left out for a while. I don’t know if I will go back here. It was too pricey for my food ($46) to look and taste the way it did.
Chicken was burnt, feathers on the chicken Mac & cheese horrible. Food was nasty as hell. Never again will I go there money wasted.

Restaurant is in an old strip mall that is not well maintained. Good for takeout only and kind of pricey for soul food.
The online prices are way cheaper than the store prices and THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE ONLINE PRICING. Food will take about an HOUR. Food taste good (not consistent). The potato salad was delicious one week and nasty the next week. They run out of rolls fast and just give you sweet cornbread (very sweet). I would give the quality of the food 6 out of 10. The chicken wings are always good if it is cooked in fresh grease. (A few times it wasn't) Customer service isn't all of that friendly. The order taker doesn't smile.
Omg... It was my first time and my first impression wasn't too good. It took 1 hour to get the food ordered and received. It looked as though they had a system but it's just not enough room for them to spread and get stuff done. The wings were over cooked. Mac n chz was banging and the cabbage was good....I just wanted some vinagar for it. The pound cake had something crispy in a bite so I only ate half. It was really heavy and sorta dry. If I do go back I probably won't be the one buying.... Had a Groupon for $10 and still paid $11 for a wing plate and pound cake. The quality is not worth the price. The amount of food is ok. Many people seem to like it so it just may be that is just not for me.
Very disappointed: The food was subpar at best, salty, old stale rolls, very salty greens. The customer service was very lacking, pants sagging, not a welcome smile in sight. During my hour long wait, I didn't observed any employee wash their hands. After my food was finally ready they sat it on the counter and never announced my order was ready.
The young people that were working in there today presented horrible customer service. Never...and I do mean NEVER again based strictly on this reason and I will be sure to share the story of my experience with friends and family. Unapologetically unprofessional. That's never a good look for any business. The only thing that was at least responsible about staff was that everyone wore a mask. Other than that, unbelievably careless.
The place is rather drab. It took me a minute to to figure out if it was open or not. Food not worth the prices. I don't mind paying for good food.
Hardest pig feet, couldn't eat, should have Bern cooked longer. Chicken wings and greens were good though.

Is the restaurant still open? I have called several times and driven by no answer.
I love the food but the customer service is extremely poor and that overall makes the restaurant a bad experience for myself & others. The workers always have very nasty attitudes. My sister recently made an order over the phone & when we went to pick it up no one had put the order in, the young lady at the front working the register was rude about that as well, she didn’t care, no apology, nothing. I will have to find somewhere else to go for soul food and it’s sad because I really love their food but I will not spend my money with nasty and rude people.
Was trying to order from Polly's today. I first check to see what was the hours of business it said 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.I started calling them at 5. The voice recording said leave a message or state your someone will. I sent my call u back. I sent myNephewTo pick up the order and the place was closed. Elderly couple was walking up to they said they have placed the order to and couldn't believe the place was closed if you was sold out or something happen you should have put a message either on the door or on your voicemail I will never come back to your place againRed
The first thing that turned me away was the style of music the business was playing. It was so explicit I was praying nobody’s mother or auntie walked in. It was embarrassing. Before arriving for the first time, I read the reviews on this place and they was really great. I don’t kno how in the hell how! I’m going to assume folks don’t kno good home cooking. I ordered meatloaf with rice and gravy, yams, and string beans. I was told there was no rice. First thing I thought “rice can cook in 5 minutes” so for a restaurant that advertise it on the menu and it’s a Friday afternoon (most people get paid/big business) but didn’t have it wasn’t cool. My fiancé ordered smothered pork chops in gravy with cabbage and Mac and cheese. The meatloaf had no flavor. I had to come home and reseason it myself. The gravy tasted like packet gravy. The string beans were canned and bland. The pork chops were smothered In dark brown packet gravy and the Mac and cheese noodles were over cooked and the taste was bland. Cheese was cheap branded..barely melt. Omg the cabbage was the worst! It taste like I was sinking my tooth in a salt packet. It was so salty and old tasting that had I ate it I probably would’ve dropped dead right there from high blood pressure! Not only that when they handed me my food, juices was running all down the side of the bag. I had to ask them to put it in another bag to keep from getting my hands sticky! will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER spend another dime at this place again!!!
Ordered through GrubHub. I was missing my side and drink, so I received only 2 pieces of fish.. Our other order was the 5pcs fried scallop with Mac and potato salad. I'm guessing the delivery driver had my food in her car for a while because the breading on the scallop was soggy. Mac was a bit salty. Fish was fresh but I ended up having it as a sandwich so. -1 to the restaurant and -1 for GrubHub.
