Great, family owned spot. About a dozen ciders on tap and they'll mix two together to makea completely different combo. HUGE outdoor area in the back with enough room to spread out or host a major event. Dog friendly for friendly dogs. Food is from whatever truck is there that day, so didn't rate that here. Great spot to just hang out, take a date, or enjoy a few drinks with friends.

Wonderful cider distributor that has creative activities for all ages. It is an old house from the area so there is a high set of stairs to enter. The porch on the front has sitting area and views of the street. You enter into an open concept bar area. The bar itself typical wood and is a walk up standing area to order drinks. The open area incorporates wooden seats and high top tables to view a tv in the area. Creative names written on big chalk board outlines ciders for the day and they have a slushy machine for a frozen treat. Great area in the back with picnic tables and space for a variety of activities from cornhole to music bingo. They bring in DJ's and bands to play to a mix crowd.
They utilize food trucks for meals and they can be a hit or miss. Recently celebrated 7 years and it was a great afternoon with ax throwing, bounce houses and various games. Worth checking out if you in the Hampton Roads area.

I do not drink cider but I love the outside atmosphere on a nice day. During the evening hours except Mondays, they have a different food truck daily and play music outside. People bring their children and let them run around and their leashed, trained fur babies. It's a very relaxing environment to just hang out.

We love the ciders here! The food trucks are great too! We also love being able to enjoy our food and ciders out back in the wide open yard. This is a must stop whenever we are in the area. We highly recommend it if you're close and like hard cider
Last month I flew out from WA state to VA to visit my son and his family. The first place on their list to visit was Sly Clyde’s !!! It’s one of their very favorites and I see why!!! The kids ran and played, I got lots of puppy kisses from the local 4 legged fur friends!! Plus the food was more than Amazing, and drinking the tasty cider (which the wonderful bartender whipped up a mix of deliciousness just for me!!!) while playing trivia!!! We visited many other cider bars while in VA but nothing even close to Slys!! My only wish is we need one here in WA…or maybe I’ll just move to VA !! Thank you for such a memorable visit!! I’ll be back!! ⭐️♥️

Great spot to hang out and have a beer. They have a solid variety of beers on tap, and the staff is friendly. Inside seating is a bit cozy, but still comfortable. The outdoor space in the back is a huge plus if you want a little more room to relax. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Stopped in during Phabulas Phoebus packed house awesome energy, fast moving yet still positive and polite service. Enjoyed several, ok many ciders and slushies during the day. Totally enjoyed the tall hunk of eye candy behind the bar. Handsome, friendly and polite young man. This was my first visit but certainly won’t be my last.

I stopped into Sly Clyde’s on a whim while waiting for traffic over the HRBT to calm down—and I’m so glad I did. I tried Surf Hopper and was seriously impressed. It’s crisp, refreshing, and has just the right edge to it to satisfy a typical beer drinker.
The cider was great, but what really made the whole experience for me was the service—especially from the bartender Dylan. I felt welcome from the second I walked in. He’s got that rare combination of being friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely good at what he does. You can tell he enjoys connecting with guests and creating a great atmosphere.
If you’re in the area, definitely make the stop. The cider’s fantastic—and Dylan makes the visit even better.
