Stay away from this place in Hampton VA i saw a customer get verbally attacked by a employee, accusing the customer of being racist and embarrassed the customer in front of everyone. The employee accused the customer of saying something racist when her and her husband were paying for their food… The employee waited to the confront the customer when they got their food served to them at the table. I was sitting with my kids and couldn’t believe what i was hearing the employee made a big scene. very unprofessional and what the employee was accusing the customer of saying was completely false i was standing next to the drink machine and heard everything… I won’t be going back to this place and i’m sure that lady and her husband won’t either what a sad experience. 3/9/25 on a Sunday a afternoon.
Waited forever for a 3 piece tender and the store wasn’t busy. Maybe the cook would have known about my 3 piece if he wasn’t so busy tryna socialize. It’s highly aggrevating to wait on food for 20 minutes when it only take 5 to 7 minutes to cook

Spicy Jalapeno Smash burger is DELICIOUS! Love it! The Smash fries are addictively good! We also had the Smash Chicken sandwich it had good flavor but didn't compare to the burger. Definitely coming back.👍

Great burger joint to order. They make your burger once you order it. The toppings are geared to enhance the flavors. I haven't had a bad experience and this is not something to eat everyday. I have never dined in here, but there is plenty of seating and its clean. High turnover rate for staff as with most fast food establishments.

I ordered on the website and it was ready when got to location which was like 10 minutes away. The burgers were great but the sweet potato and fries were so beyond salty that I could not eat them and unfortunately had to trash them. Such a shame.

I was looking forward to trying this place but it was disappointing. The fries were limp and greasy with a hint of freezer burn. I also wonder who thinks Rosemary tastes good on french fries, but I digress. I fully expected this to be better than Five Guy's considering the price as well as the description of the grade of meat y'all claim to use. Also, pickles taste better when they actually taste like dill.... not butter. I wanted to give it one star but the bottled Sprite was lovely.

I have not been to this location 2027 Von Shilling Drive, Hampton VA. in a long while. I was greeted with excellent professionalism from the Ms Brandi. Ms Brandi treated us like we were at home with excellent hospitality. The staff was very cordial and kind. Being here on national burger day was great, my family and I got to have burgers and the famous garlic fries. I have spent years in customer service and I must say that Smash Burger is blessed to have Ms. Brandi and her staff.
