My first and last time at this location. I’ve never in my life had to deal with this much chaos because of a drive thru line it was terribly back up even if you wanted to leave the lot you couldn’t because of how little space there was very disappointed

I waited to give Starbucks time before writing this review but am still waiting for a response.

I am writing this review to report a disappointing experience at the Starbucks location at W. Mercury Blvd and Riverdale Ct (Store #52765-280288) on September 24, 2025, at 9:25 AM (Receipt #688410).

While waiting for my order of two venti brewed coffees, I was ignored by a team member who was training others. Despite standing at the counter for over 10 minutes, I received no acknowledgment. Meanwhile, a white male customer who arrived after me was warmly greeted by the same employee, offered complimentary drinks from the training session, and engaged in friendly conversation.
This stark difference in treatment was upsetting and felt discriminatory. I don’t know if it was due to my race, gender, or another factor, but I was made to feel invisible and unwelcome. As a loyal Starbucks customer for decades, this experience was deeply disappointing.
I submitted a complaint through Starbuck’s website but received no response. I’m now reaching out again in hopes that this issue will be investigated and addressed appropriately. All customers deserve equal respect and service.

I come to this Starbucks every morning. M-F between the hours of 5:45-6am…I do not understand for the life of me how I have been waiting behind 4 cars for 22 mins… There are a couple of employees that have great customer service but the sense of urgency sucks!! And this is not a one off situation…

I came through the drive thru with a drink order for a friend. I have ordered it for her here before but this time they said they couldn't make it without a name for the drink. It was very confusing for us both. Then The person at the register told me I should have had her scan 1st and now she cant scan for my points. So the special drink was completely wrong and I didn't get any points. I was told to use the receipt to get my points but you have to call customer service . I spent 30 min on the phone and still didn't get my points . Ugh I want my tip back.

I will stop here on my way to work and it varies with how busy they are. I typically mobile order and my drink is ready when I arrive 9 times out of 10. My drink from this location is made the most consistently compared to other locations and is always enjoyable. I had an issue with the app today (8/28), but the employees were very helpful and remedied the situation. Have always had a great experience at this Starbucks!

I had such wonderful service the 23 of August. I mobile ordered a pumpkin cream cold brew with sugar free vanilla. The sweet barista making my drink saw me sit down in the waiting area she asked my name she said “hey i noticed you substituted for sugar free vanilla” I thought it was gonna say they were out so I was like “regular vanilla is fine if your out” and she informed they had it but wanted to make sure that i wasn’t diabetic.
And that kind of care and thoughtfulness has resonated in me. I just wanted to share I wish I got the young ladies name. Just wanted the location to see they have wonderful thoughtful and kind employees.

Sammie had a terrible attitude and was snapping at me when I asked for a straw and very unprofessional - she made my experience very unpleasant… hire people who know how to act like they aren’t absolutely miserable and annoyed with simply doing their job.
