I went here for brunch and honestly I wasn’t thrilled. The first menu they give you is just a drink menu. I asked for a food menu and they said they order your drinks first. Which is a given, but I need to know what food they have so I know what liquor I want to mix with it. When I asked our server what would he suggest he said the menu was all popular and asked if they will make something not on the menu, he said he only likes a vodka and soda so he couldn’t really suggest anything. So we ordered a bloodorange moonmosa which was ok, and French connection which was nasty!!!! We asked our server Shawn if he could exchange it out and he said it’s on the table so he can’t take it off the check. Ok fine so we said we would keep the drink and he still brought another moonmosa out so we ended up drinking it. The food menu was very limited and honestly over priced. We got the brisket French toast. It was only ok. And it definitely wasn’t a worth the 30 something it cost. I won’t even full off that small piece of bread and 2 pieces of meat. The presentation wasn’t even the same between the plates because my friend plate everything was tipped over. I can’t see myself returning and I would have walked the other direction to mango maneaux which is near by has better service and better food. I do not recommend this place. I now understand why it was dead, not busy. And I can’t understand why the reviews are so high

Service disjointed. Wine cane belatedly: billing requested when booked as a party etc. Desserts unworthy of the dinners which were very good as were the mixed drinks at the bar.

I came here for brunch on a Saturday and was shocked to see no one was at the restaurant. This may have been a sign to not eat here but I ignored the red tapes and grabbed a table. The brunch menu was limited and the food came out rather slow for no one being in the restaurant. I ordered the lamb burger and it came out extremely well done. I did not enjoy the food but the decoration and waiter were fine. I’d caution coming here for brunch, but I hear the dinner menu is better!

We came here for a date night. Being military we don’t get many unless family is in town and since I just promoted, we took advantage of it. This place is absolutely amazing. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing. Ok top of that it is a cozy atmosphere.

If this is an indicator, I stopped eating my food to write this review because that’s how great of an experience this is. Much deserving of 5 stars. We will be coming back here for our 11 year anniversary next month. HIGHLY recommend!

From the moment we stepped into The Baker's Wife, we knew we were in for a special eve. This was, a five-star dining experience from start to finish.
Our waiter, Sean, was an absolute revelation. His knowledge of the menu was truly impressive; he didn't just rattle off ingredients, but offered genuine insights into the preparation, sourcing, and even the subtle flavor profiles of each dish. He guided us through the menu with expertise and passion, making excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our preferences. It's rare to encounter a server so genuinely enthusiastic and well-versed, and Sean's recommendations enhanced our meal immeasurably.
The meal – simply divine! The head chef is a true culinary artist. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, both visually stunning and bursting with incredible flavors. You could taste the dedication and creativity in every bite. From the perfectly balanced appetizers to the exquisitely prepared entrees and the divine desserts, each course was a testament to the chef's skill and vision. It was a truly memorable dining experience, where every dish told a story and left us eager for the next.
The ambiance was charming, the service impeccable, and the food utterly phenomenal. The Baker's Wife has officially become our favorite spot. Bravo to the entire team, especially Sean and the brilliant head chef, for crafting such an unforgettable evening!

Everything was barely cooked. My grits were not fully cooked and chewy in my crab and grits. My lamb was basically raw and my wife asked for a lamb burger cooked well with no pink and they kept sending it back pink. The first time blood was actually running out of it. I expected more quality for the amount I paid. My surprise Mothers Day dinner for my wife was not a good one.

Absolutely stunning service from Virginia, the chicken is melt in your mouth good and the steak is bomb absolutely delicious. The truffle fries were a welcomed surprise! Would totally recommend again and again

First time being here and we came as a birthday group. I ordered a mojito and waited 30 mins for it to come and when it did it was not a mojito. It had no mint in it at all which is in fact required for a mojito. No apology from manager or server after waiting 30 mins for the wrong drink. Then we take a look at the menu and they have no sides. The only options are asparagus and fries? Fries? They brought us out our entrees and multiple people got chicken that was PINK AND UNDERCOOKED. No apology. No offer to remake anything. I ordered my steak well done, which I understand not everyone likes but I am paying for it. It came out RARE and what was funny is, it’s cut in slivers for you so how they didn’t see they were sending me a rare steak is beyond me. I almost thought they did it on purpose. This is after waiting 2 HOURS for our entrees. The steak comes on a plate with steak and 2 mushrooms and the chicken literally comes alone. Who wants to just eat a whole chicken or a steak with no sides? So I pull the MANAGER over to show her my steak is raw and not how I wanted it. She does not apologize, does not offer to fix it, take anything off or anything. We paid for it, we left and we WILL NEVER GO BACK. When I say this place is 100% not worth it I mean it. I mean everything was a complete joke. Don’t waste your time.

Came here for my birthday and the food was tasteless and uncooked. The server was nice until we complained about the uncooked food that we paid for. My entire party was not pleased and we left and went somewhere else! 0-5 stars, don’t recommend!

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner here, our first time visiting, but we look forward to returning already. I wish I could give 6 stars for atmosphere—the restaurant is beautifully decorated and optimally set up with tables spaced well so that it’s cozy but you can have your own conversation with gentle ambient music and background noise. Every table around us seemed to be enjoying as much as we did. Service was good. Food was excellent.

Nice place. Great service. Food is average but has potential. The scallops were heavy and salty. Salad was not impressive. Menu needs to change up more often as it is quite limited. Will be back in a couple of months to see if things have changed.
