We use to travel here occasionally to enjoy the breakfast dining experience. However, it’s apparent that nothing is the same under this new management. I sent my complete entree back (shells in my eggs, old hash browns & biscuits), the pancakes were good. Most food wasn’t fresh (biscuits, hash browns, fried apples), they no longer cook with/have butter (biscuits, grits), and lack flavor. They also do not provide proof of purchase with a legitimate receipt with the business name, address, phone number, and items purchased on it. We will not be traveling back in the future.

This was my second visit to Tommy’s Restaurant. The food is good; however, the restrooms were extremely filthy, which raises concerns about overall cleanliness. Clean restrooms are part of honoring customers. There was also confusion with the seating policy. Although I understand the rule requiring all guests to be present before being seated, our waitress told us we could be seated once most of our party arrived. When all but three of the party arrived, Another employee later stopped us and rudely re-explained the policy, even after we explained what we were told. This miscommunication between staff caused unnecessary stress. I hope the restaurant improves cleanliness and handles internal communication more professionally in the future.
