There must of been a employee issue for breakfast, it opened late and no menu only buffet. The buffet is your typical Hilton items, powdered scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy. A bot overpriced, especially since gratuity is automatically added (not a fan). Average overall for price and quality.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and it was a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the room was appalling. The bed frames were filthy, covered in dust and grime that clearly hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Every surface in the room was similarly neglected, with sticky residues and visible dirt. The corners of the floors were telling, as they were lined with dirt and debris, indicating that vacuuming is a rare occurrence here. Speaking of the floors, it was obvious they hadn't been vacuumed for quite some time, as evidenced by the dust bunnies and crumbs scattered about. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit sounded like a wind tunnel. It was impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep with the constant, deafening noise. It was so loud that I might as well have had an industrial fan running right next to my bed. Attempting to address these issues with the staff was an exercise in futility. It seems like they take all the phones off the hook because every time I tried to call the front desk, the lines were constantly busy. When I finally managed to speak to someone, the staff were friendly, but clearly overwhelmed and understaffed. The shower in my room overflowed, flooding the bathroom. Despite sending maintenance, they were unable to fix the problem and promised me another room. However, I am still waiting for that promise to be fulfilled. It's clear this hotel is severely understaffed, and they seem to be taking advantage of the limited hotel options in the area to skimp on basic services and maintenance. In summary, this hotel is a prime example of neglect and poor management. While the staff are friendly when you can reach them, the overall experience was marred by filthy rooms, unbearable noise, and unaddressed maintenance issues. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for accommodation, even if your options are limited.
this is the most ghetto hotel I've ever stayed in my life smh ...can't use the pool because there's a 200+ person pool party ...can't park anywhere because again 200+ person pool party ..this place is trash and I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here
GREAT atmosphere from check in to the suite
We stayed at this hotel a few months ago. Front desk staff were pleasant during check-in, for the duration of our stay and during check-out. The food at Copper Barley was quite good. The bathroom and closet were too small to accommodate two people. The light fixture over nightstand did not work and had to be repaired during our stay. During our stay we decided to have breakfast at Top Sail and were met very rudely by Brandon who greeted us with "We close in a 1/2 hr. You only have 1/2 hr." then he walked off. We are African American (Brandon is white) and we are not one to bring our racial issues/concerns without merit. But in this case we noticed that the AA customers who entered the restaurant right after us were greeted the same way. Two white females entered and Brandon greeted them with "Good Morning" and said nothing about their time limit before closing. A complimentary breakfast was given to us the next day I did file a complaint with Hilton Honors and did not receive a response directly from Hotel Management regarding the incident with Brandon.
My family recently stayed at the hotel. One individual at the front desk was extremely rude, condescending and lacked empathy when they charged my sisters card 3 times. Not only for the cost of the room but also for the daily fees and incidentals. She, at the front drsk, basically shrugged her shoulders and said it'll be 3 to 5 business days to be reimbursed over $1,400. Then the icing on the cake is once my sister checked out, another $120 charge came through. We went back tou inquire alrhough they saw the charge, no one had any idea what it was for. The GM isn't much better, he hasn't returned any calls left on his voice mail. I won't even get into the TV not working and then same lady at the front desk asking exactly we wanted the TV to do. Maybe, function ma'am. Televise a channel, stream something. Horrible, horrible experience. And I love going to their rooftop but I won't send anymore guests here.
