Ordered the Sushi deluxe dinner, spicy tuna roll and some miso soup. Was not expecting the boat with fog effect!!! Everything was delicious and the presentation was superb!!! I highly recommend Toro sushi!!!

The Atmosphere was decent, fairly clean. The staff were rude. I ordered a glass of red wine and my wine glass was very dirty and the waitress had an attitude when I made her aware. The sushi didn’t taste fresh, the lettuce in the house salad was wilted and gross. I’m use to sushi rolls being made to order etc and it just didn’t seem to be an authentic sushi restaurant like Kero Sushi or Kotobuki. The food was also overpriced. Eat at your own risk.

When we arrived the seating situation was a little confusing having to walk into the middle of the dining area to turn around and be seated at the booth right by the door. The service was a little slow and interactions with our server felt very rushed. When we ordered I asked to either substitute or remove avocado from a roll due to an allergy but was told no. Overall the food was very good despite the crab roll being cut in large pieces and the sweet tea being brisk from a drink machine. The ambiance of the restaurant was lost for us when the outside lights turned on and flooded our booth with fluorescent light. If you're OK with sitting on very hard booths and slow service the food is pretty well worth it.

We recently visited Toro Sushi in Hampton, VA, and had a fantastic experience. The sushi was delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. What made it especially memorable was how artfully the dishes were presented — when our orders arrived, they were beautifully plated, even with smoke effects that made it a fun and unique experience.
The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and very clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. While I can’t speak for the bathrooms, the dining area was great, and other guests seemed to be enjoying their meals as well.
The only minor downside was the drink selection — they only offered wine, and the glasses were quite small — but it didn’t take away from the overall great experience.
Toro Sushi is a wonderful spot for sushi lovers, and we will definitely be returning. (Deducted one star from the rating because of the drink selection)
