Great menu - creative chef. Ordered a bowl of chowder & the short rib meat poutine over sweet potatoes and cheese curds (delicious). I would normally recommend and give more stars, however I got food poisoning I believe from the bowl of lobster & corn chowder. What an awful overnight sickness 🤮

Went for brunch with a group of 9 people, I was hoping they would just sell me the cinnamon roll but they wouldn’t. (I don’t eat meat or eggs) They will not remove, change or substitute anything on a weekly special. So I decided to try a slice of blueberry cheese cake. I was kinda expecting it to be a decent sized slice but it was very small for 10$… I also got a side of tots they were pretty good! But also thought the portion was small… the server was alright. Once they started to get busy we didn’t get the check for a while after eating.

Excellent food and service in this cozy little spot that we just happened to find en route to the beach. We choose this place over a few similar looking ones on the block because they had a variety of menu items marked as gluten free and/or vegetarian. My GF hubby was delighted by the option for a pizza. My son and I split a daily special pizza and ordered a taco each - everything was tasty and original, house made (no frozen food truck stuff that are the same mediocre items everywhere). Drink menu was enticing too, and their daily/weekly specials made me want to come back even though I don't live in the area. Highly recommend, and I'll be planning to visit anytime I'm back in the area.

A couple friends and I visited Venture Kitchen & Bar for the first time on Mother's Day for brunch and this may be my new favorite brunch spot on the Peninsula. We arrived just after 10AM and there was no wait so we got a booth right away by the Kitchen. We ordered alcohol and a basket of breads/pastries to share along with our meals which all came out in a timely fashion. The drinks were incredible! The bread basket was a Mother's Day special and SO good. Our food came out shortly after and oh my goodness, what a delicious meal! We all agreed we would be back again. Our service, food and drinks were all top notch! We also kept seeing other dishes coming out of the kitchen and it all looked amazing.

Gluten free menu! We've been going here for years, and I can always find a gluten free option! I've had a few different pizzas, and the chipotle BBQ shrimp nachos, everything has been delicious and I haven't gotten sick! The staff is helpful to always double check too!
