We were visiting from out of state. My son suggested Vito’s for pizza. So I called to order. The guy on the phone was having an extremely hard time taking my order which was a large meat lovers, large pepperoni, large chef salad, and 20 mild wings. I was patient, but after repeating myself about 5 times, a lady took over on the phone and apologized. I then repeated the same order. Then the total was $37 and change, which I felt was extremely cheap for the order. I gave her my card over the phone and let them know my son was picking it up. When he got there they gave him the receipt and only gave him the two pizzas. No salad or wings. My son checked the receipt and saw just the two pizzas. So he left. I wasn’t happy but we went with it since I was only supposed to be charged $37 and change according to the lady on the phone. Well, I looked on my card statement and found I was charged $77.69 for two pizzas. Never got the large chef salad or the 20 mild wings. We visit occasionally because my son is in the military. Not only will I never order from this place again, but I will make sure military families will know of our experience.

I had not stopped for a pizza at Vito's for at least 6 months so I figured I would give it a try again after I was disappointed in my last visit so this visit I spent $27 and change on a large it was a supreme and I asked for extra cheese but that didn't happen I got a minimal amount of cheese the vegetables that used to be so large and tasty on their supreme pizzas are now just a chopped up mix of of small I was very disappointed about that like I said the extra money that I invested into more cheese on the pizza was a waste because I don't even think I got the normal amount of cheese on a pizza pizza still tasted good the sauce was still good press was good but I guess like everything else is times get tougher and the supplies that go into making a pizza cost more that makes it hard to make a pizza like they used to without charging even more than $27 for a large supreme it's a shame I used to really enjoy going to vitos

Ordered a cheeseburger sub and it’s nothing like what it used to be the heated up the lettuce and tomato and it was horrible, new owners so it’s not the same. I also ordered a pizza that was undercooked that I couldn’t even stomach to eat.

Used Google to find a "pizza near me" place. When the phone rings constantly and there is people coming in to pick up their orders, you know there is something to this place. And we were not disappointed. Got medium'ish pepperoni surg extra cheese. I put it in my top 3 in the tidewater area. Fast service. Too bad for me that I live 30 miles from Vito. Guess I'll have to get a delivery bag from Amazon.........

Stopped into this establishment to grab a couple of slices of pizza and was totally turned off by what I saw!!! Since when does a “Pizzaeria” not smell like pizza? The young lady behind the counter was blowing her nose and when the gentleman before me stepped up to the counter to order she proceeded to help him yet never sanitized her hands…..there was a issue with him being charged a incorrect price and somehow or another it required someone to come from the back to assist which seemed like it was gonna be a lengthy process. I’m very glad I had time to observe this let me know that I didn’t want any “pizza” from this establishment…

Great inexpensive lunch spot. I normally get the 2 slice combo, well done (I like mines crispy). The cheese steak is really good and they have decent toppings.

I have been eating from this restaurant since the 1980's. It saddens me now to say my last few meals have been a deep disappointment. I have no idea where they get lunch meat from or what the brand is, but it tasteless and mushy. Tonight I ordered the pastrami sandwich. The meat was chopped up - something I have never seen on this type of sandwich- but again the meat had no flavor. I have been eating pastrami all of my life and I am 60 years old. One of the worst meals I have ever had. Couldn't finish it.
