I’ve tried several soul food spots in Hampton. Including Wards. I told my self the first time I tried them that it would be the last time. This was almost 3 years ago. Tonight I had the chicken and fish. Everything was fresh, crispy, seasoned well. The mac was decent (and I don’t eat just anybody’s Mac) and the yams were okay (could have been little sweeter). Overall a 8.5/10
My daughter wanted chitchattings so I found this place. Wow am I so impressed, will order from there from here on out. So tasty and absolutely delicious. Only place I could find them.
First time trying staff was nice, they were pretty busy as well so we were excited.Looked nice and clean in the building smelled good as well.
I got the fish and shrimp substituted the whiting for the tilapia I asked how many pieces of fish and was told 2 but only received one. The fish was the best part of the meal it was seasoned well fried to perfection. But unfortunately it was soggy due to the collard green juice which was very bland.
