I never tried the sashimi. I dislike the taste of raw fish but I take my chances here and I am glad that I did. It was amazing. The sushi rolls exquisite the special Hawaii roll... totally recommend it.

First time eating inside today. Such a cute restaurant. Our waitress was SO kind!! We loved her! She gave us a free appetizer & dessert. It was delicious. Food was great! We ate every last bite. Will definitely be back again. Thai tea was so yummy!!

AMAZING! The sushi was great, and so were the spring rolls! But the most notable thing was the staff and the service. Before I walked into the restaurant, I took a fall and busted my knee and elbow. One of the girls that worked there saw and ran out to take care of me. She brought bandages and cleaned my wound. She was an absolute angel; just wish I would’ve asked her name so that I could mention it in this review. Anyways, definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to get some quality grub at a fair price. Service was quick, food was great!

Cute inside. Quiet and cozy. Service was great. The staff were all very friendly. My daughter and I got the Candycane Roll, Volcano and Spicy California. Candycane was definitely yummy! I get The Volcano at every sushi spot and theirs was good too! My daughter loved the miso soup. We got the appetizer size Fire Chicken. Enough for us two to share. Not spicy by any means but tasty. I would definitely go back when I’m on that side of the water.

Terrible service! Me and my family went around 4pm Sunday, there was five of us. We were the only customers in the place they sat us down and gave us menus, and we continued to sit for another 10min with no service at all not even water. Then two customers walked in to dine they sat them and then offered them service, how irritating. Me and my family got up and walked out and ate at a better sushi establishment nearby. We will never return or would I recommend this place and that will be unfortunate for them, because I am a small business owner in the city of Hampton and I do business with many city officials.

We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not full. The service was fine. I had the spicy fire chicken lunch special which tasted good (not very spicy at all) but was a very small portion. My partner had 3 sushi rolls which he said were good and they seemed to be a decent size. We got free egg rolls and edamame, and candy came with the bill. Not sure I would be rushing to go back but there are increasingly few places to get good sushi around here!

While the decor is awesome. The atmosphere and food quality is not worth it. The one in Yorktown is so much better. But if you just want some takeout and decent sushi then it’s okay.

First time I stopped by they were closed (3:00 - 4:30). I tried again today & got there by 2:00. I'm glad I did as it was the best sushi I've found in the area in many years. The Sashimi Lunch, at under $12, was a great deal. It had substantial, premium, beautifully sliced fish, which came separately boxed from the warm rice that was excellently cooked. It was prepared within 4 minutes of my walk-in order. Even the chopsticks were premium - nice and thick, which felt so good in the hand. I'm thrilled and definitely will return. I feel lucky that it is in such a convenient location.

I was craving deep-fried sushi and saw that the initial reviews for this spot were good, so I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. LOL! I went on a Saturday evening. It was empty, and while the decor is cute, the vibes were dry and gloomy, and the woman at the counter (who suddenly became the waitress) was rude, at best. (They had no waitstaff so maybe she was annoyed that she had to actually take orders.) I decided to still give it a try since I drove all the way from Newport News. The spicy California roll was not spicy and was warm, as if it had been sitting out or the ingredients were never refrigerated. Didn't seem fresh at all. The "Crazy stone roll" was deep-fried and tasted OK but the batter was super-thick. You got more batter than actual sushi. I ordered the volcano roll to see if that would be better. No. The batter was tough and the actual sushi on the inside was mushy and fell apart. SKIP this place and go to Sushi King or ANY other spot.

Love getting sushi here. Whether we dine in or order for delivery, the food is always amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and quiet inside, and the service is quick. Great place to go out to get some sushi.

Got takeaway and was very pleased. Food was well packaged and the packaging was high quality and enhanced the experience. The Hawaii roll was delicious and the fire chicken was quite good. Would recommend.

It's a quiet and beautiful interior inside. The food was amazing and the service was good as well. The only disappointment was the cheesecake which was still slightly frozen. I'd return again and again to dine in and can see myself doing take away from there as well. The combo of 2 rolls for $20 is a great deal and filling. The presentation is beautiful.

Came in here for a light meal and was pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking for a high grade dining experience, this may not be your spot but this place knows how to present and execute. It is not pretentious, but the fish is fresh and well prepared. I would recommend adding an order of maguro, yellow tail, or salmon nigiri to your order for dinner to taste how fresh the fish and how well prepared the rice is. Enjoy! ✨

Was very good. We love sushi rolls and from the presentation to taste they have good sushi. Highly recommend anyone to give this place a chance.

Great experience and service. Loved the extras they give you with your food (Edamame and spring rolls). Would definitely only go for the sushi even then was mediocre at best. Ramen wasn't very good.
