Damn good food 😋

Sim Dietrich

Food was good except some items on menu were not available…waitress not friendly at all!

The Kettle Burger is consistently good. I'd go so far as to say the best burger in SML. They also have great salads. I continue to come here every time I visit the lake.

We stopped in for brunch. Brunch hours 11 to 2. We got the at 1120 they we out off eggs had to tell them and wait. They had 6 pieces of bacon and the pancakes were all burnt. At 19.00 a plate I expect to have better service and food. Also the potatoes were soaked in grease. I can say that this was the worst breakfast that I ever had.

Had a wonderful experience! Hannah did an amazing job, food and view were great! Will be back soon!

At first everything was fine. We got brunch even though we weren't aware that was the only thing on Sundays for lunch. No biggie. The minute my husband asked if the cook would make some bacon that wasn't so crunchy our waitresses attitude changed. She barely checked in for drinks (he had coffee and the cups are really small). He did say the coffee tasted burned and the biscuits were a little over done.

Very disappointed with Special Prime Rib night. Unlike last time we ate here, this time the meat was so tough, warm and was obvious dipped in hot juice in an attempt to make it medium. It looked like overcooked liver on the outside and was rare when you sawed into it. At least the knife was sharp. I’ll lie to my grandkids about the meal, after using my $40 birthday gift card. So disappointed. Never again!

Went on Monday night early at 5pm. Open from 4p-9p so we may have been one of the first to dine. Server was prompt and made the specials and daily vegetables known. We ordered drinks and the Pomme Frites appetizer. It arrived within a few minutes and was delicious and hot! My wife ordered the Meatloaf with carrots and brussel sprouts. I got the Mahi Mahi with carrots and green beans. The Meatloaf portion was LARGE, juicy and plain out amazing! All the vegetables were cooked perfectly! My Mahi Mahi was flaky and seared to perfection. The server kept our drinks filled and checked on us often. She did an amazing job. The bill came to $96 including a 20% tip, a well deserved tip. Yeah it was a bit expensive but the experience and the food were well worth it. Highly recommend The Copper Kettle!

The Copper Kettle was delicious! Mussels were cooked perfectly in the pasta, the balsamic chicken was very flavorful, and the burger was a hit.

so on Sunday, March 9 I left work. I had my granddaughter with me and thought it would be nice to treat her to a special
Knowing that the place is very expensive
Overrated, but I’ve eaten there a few times and the food was OK so I thought she would like it

We were seated fairly quickly by nice Young man
And there was a waitress that had come up to our table. She seemed a little edgy from the start.
We told her we wanted drinks she asked us what we wanted. It got a half-and-half tea. My granddaughter got a sweet tea with
When they arrived at the table, I tasted mine she tasted hers. They were sat down.

No big deal
Pathetic kept getting worse. She came back to take our order.

And we both got the hamburger plate
Then the food came out
And we asked if we could have ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise
Her response was all three
I thought that was strange
So we waited at my granddaughter almost finished her hamburger by the time she got the condiments

So we ate our hamburger, which was good
And let me back up for a moment when she took my order I said I would probably have

As well
So she brought the ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise out to our table never asked if we needed our drinks refilled, which were empty
I told her I had to go order and she just kinda looked at me and walked away
The table behind us, she was laughing and giggling, talking about the drinks and spending time with that table
We got no attention
She was rude. Her name was Candace.
So I tracked her down to take to go order
And she said oh, do you wanna drink? Do you want a refill and we
That would be nice

So she brought too hot teas out no rice in the tea
By then I was getting pretty serious as you may guess
I felt like I had did something to offend her
Or that she just didn’t wanna wait on us
I work in retail myself and felt that I was treated so badly
She had time to laugh and talk to everybody else and talk about shots and liquor, but she didn’t have time to check on us

So when she brought that to go order out, it felt very late. I didn’t open it, but I was like is everything in there it’s supposed to be rice and the chicken $22 meal.
Again, she was rude and told me it was $76. My granddaughter was thinking about having dessert as well. We were never asked at that point. It was pretty various and done anyway anyways.
So she says you want to print a copy and I said yes I would like a printed copy thank you very much
I can tell you that she was not too busy
She was rude at one point she rolled her eyes at us
When I asked for to go, Neil
Not sure what her problem was, but I can promise you I will never step foot in that restaurant again and I’ve been here for 20 some years
Unbelievable the way I felt like I was being treated when all I was doing was trying to give my granddaughter a special night with her grandmother after a long day of work in retail myself
And when I called back to ask for a manager, she said she was the manager and that there was an owner there, but he was too busy to talk to me, but she couldn’t find him so just letting you all know beware

Service was terrible overpriced
I never felt so unappreciated and I’ve been a retail for 40 years unbelievable also when we got home to go order, I knew it felt like there was nothing hardly in it. My other granddaughter said she was still hungry. There wasn’t hardly any food to eat. Sad what a waste of my money.

Went for Sunday brunch and hands down the worst brunch I've ever been to. Waiter had no clue, bartender was rude and clearly didn't want to be there. Coffee was the worst and over very bad service which makes me never wait to set foot in there again.

We had the linguine and mussels, wings and drummies and a side salad. Absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Service was excellent. Will be returning!

Great waitress, very good food...but, ice cold in the building. We had to eat with our coats on ! Come on think about your customers comfort, without customers, you have no business. Paying 200 to eat with your coat on is not something I'm going to do again.

Very small menu selection, everything super expensive like to add chicken to Cesar salad was 8.00 what a rip. Breakfast buffet was 19.95 again rip and not many choices. For us one and done
