Every year we say we are going to check out Hot Shots. Yesterday we finally did.
We entered the main building which really consisted of two rooms. The first had a couple tables and a counter for service. The other room had a bar, couple tables and some arcade machines, not the type that attract kids. We sat at the bar which already had locals on many of the stools. Funnest place around with the nicest people in town! All ages are welcome and love that the family can do a combo of Axe throwing and Mini golf,so we can make a whole day of it or if in a hurry, just dabble. Variety of food on the menu so I can get something different every-time I visit, as well as tasty cocktails and the coldest beers on tap. We were at Hot Shots Bar & Grill in Moneta, VA for the World Tavern Poker Regional Championship, and everything was awesome! The atmosphere was perfect for the event, and the poker room server was amazing—so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was great, and the Bahama Mama was spot on! Excellent job to the bartender on that one. Great people, great service, and great vibes all around. We’ll definitely be back!

Hot Shots Bar and Grill is a hidden gem that deserves high ratings. The service is great and friendly, with guests praising the "best cheeseburgers they have EVER had." The atmosphere is welcoming, like Cheers, where everybody knows your name, making it a friendly place to meet and greet people. The bartender outside does an excellent job on busy nights, while the inside offers a more relaxed vibe. The staff members make customers feel happy, and the food from the grill, including the lunch specials, is unreal. Hot Shots also offers fun activities like ax throwing, with Mark providing great instruction, making the experience enjoyable for everyone. It is a kid-friendly place with plenty of parking and wheelchair accessibility. Recently, the food quality has improved, and guests continue to enjoy the fun atmosphere. Visitors celebrate birthdays and enjoy activities like mini golf and putt putt, finding the experience to be a great night out. The staff remains helpful and friendly, making every visit special. Hot Shots Bar and Grill is highly recommended for good food, great company, and a relaxed atmosphere.
