“They knew our big party was coming. Our waitress seemed to have too many tables plus us. Way too much time to get drinks, take our orders, and get our food. Dinner turned out to be a 2+hour ordeal.”

“Food was ordered. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and added mushrooms and green peppers. It was very tasty, but too greasy. My husband ordered the wings special and he was very pleased. Milton was both pleasant and an excellent server.”

“Cannot say enough great things about BullDocks! Thought we'd give this local restaurant a try for our anniversary, and they did not disappoint. Atmosphere was great, our server Ava was spot on, and the food!! Oh my! Steaks were cooked to perfection. Homemade rolls melted in your mouth. Fresh salad and veggies, and wonderful sides. The chef makes your plate to order, and he is phenomenal. We split the lemon blueberry cheesecake (even though we were stuffed and couldn't finish our entrees.) Wow! We have finally found our local restaurant and I can't wait to go back.”

“I typed in New York Pizza with this place in mind, but also knowing I’d be passing by the Vinton Pizza place with basically the same name. The route I had to take home made this place closer to home and ultimately fresher pizza.The pizza was saucier and cheesier than Joes imo. Smaller but tastier than Benny’s, a pepperoni slice was delicious, but crust wasn’t as thick and dense as the Vinton location, but the value was better and the flavor was not off. I’m not a fan of Vinny’s even though I’m a Vinny. I even passed Mama Maria’s in Salem today. I still have this place a chance and felt like I won.I got what I paid for and it wasn’t like I settled. I’ve already told my family of this place. If order here again for sure.Hopefully it sticks around.”

“We love Joe's! A friend and I go to the breakfast buffet around 11:00 on Sunday mornings. It's the best of both worlds! You get their excellent sausage gravy, crispy bacon, eggs, pancakes and French toast , all kinds of fruits, that actually starts about 8:30 I think. But we go at 11:00 because at 11:30 they bring out some of their Italian Specialties on a lunch buffet. Pizza, chicken parm, meatballs, vegetables. So we eat a little bit for breakfast, and then a little bit for lunch, and it's perfect. I usually end up taking my son and his girlfriend a pizza when I leave there. Joe's cheese pan pizza is, according to my son and his girlfriend, the best pizza they have ever had from anywhere in their entire lives! And these two have had some pizza, lol. Everyone in there is extremely nice, one of the owners is always walking around to make sure everyone is being taken care of properly. It's just a great place. If you can't make the Sunday morning brunch buffet, any time is good. When we go for dinner, it's the chicken parm without fail. It's the best chicken parm I've ever had from any restaurant, anywhere. We're definitely fans, and so glad that Joe's was not one that fell during the pandemic. We're very lucky to have them in our neighborhood.Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of handicap spots that straight to a ramp that takes you up to the door.”

“Great reasonable cafe for lunch. I've gotten their soup and 1/2 salad, sandwhich and salad add on. The cranberry walnut salad was great- lots of toppings. The loaded potato and taco soup are really good. I had a turkey club one time also. Coffee drinks are good. You can eat outside if you want facing the water or inside. Free wifi. The cheesecake desserts are great, and I had a sugar cookie once too. Reasonable price.”

“Only reason I didn't give the atmosphere a 5 star is because of the smoky air in the restaurant. The large round grill is great but there is not adequate ventilation in the building to keep your clothes from smelling like the food. Everything else is great!!!!”

“Love Vinnys! Try to go at least once a week. I get their Chicken Alfredo, BBQ chicken pizza, and salads. All are wonderful. Their only issue is the dessert aren't very good. It is very dry and lacks flavor.”

“Went there a while ago, good food and a great atmosphere being near Smith Mountain Lake. Servers were friendly and food was served quickly. Recommend for anyone wanting to grab a bite to eat in the SML area.”
