“Only reason I didn't give the atmosphere a 5 star is because of the smoky air in the restaurant. The large round grill is great but there is not adequate ventilation in the building to keep your clothes from smelling like the food. Everything else is great!!!!“

“My wife and I split the prime rib dinner special. It was delicious and the portions were large enough to feed both of us. Our server kept good tabs on our needs. We sat by the fireplace on a cold night and that added to the atmosphere.the views are great. I gave the atmosphere four stars because the furniture, carpet, decorations are just a little dated and could use updating. But overall a great dining experience at a reasonable price.“
“We came for the Sunday Brunch. My husband loved all there was to choose from. He ate 3 plates full. I had the Italian burger with sweet potato fries. It was delicious. Definitely would recommend you come and try out their menu. The outdoor seating area is beautiful on nice days. The view is spectacular.“
“The food was really good. We went there off season. But the servers seemed a little lost. It got busy pretty quickly. And they lost who was their tables. The biggest issue was people smoking everywhere. We did sit outside, so it is on us a little. But overall, definitely check them out.“

The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and I particularly like that it is dog friendly! I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the SML area.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the deck area and entrance to the dining room.“
“Tasty food at a value price, along with highly attentive service.To address some of the recent bad reviews: I sat at the counter and observed the cooks. That kitchen is as clean as any high pace kitchen you will find. And if the sign at the entrance asking every patron to wait to be seated isn't a clue to please wait, I am not sure what will clue some folks in.“
“A very casual local diner with the best food and prices for that great food! I've eaten here numerous times and there's nothing I haven't loved! Sometimes it can be a little slow due to staff issues, but it's worth the wait.“
“Got a 2 bedroom with a great view. Met some really nice people from different areas while staying here. The unit has no carpet which is great for cleaning, just able to hear everything going on inside when trying to sleep, being there's nothing to catch the sound. Would recommend the stay.“

“I understand that Blackwater Cafe is under new management, now. During my visit it was not. The food was very good( I had the burger and fries). The service was fast and customer service was good. The only complaint that I would have is the operational hours are odd and need to be reconsidered.“
