“Horrible experience. The descriptions on the menu are inaccurate. I went and had lunch with my 86-year-old mother. We ordered salads. She ordered Cobb salad and I ordered the fried chicken salad, because the description says it's served on a bed of "mixed greens". I hate iceberg lettuce. When my salad came, I ate the fried chicken tenders, but complained, because the salad was nothing but iceberg and romaine lettuce. The young, so-called manager, named TJ, was very rude and unapologetic and told me that lettuce is mixed greens. He told me if I wasn't happy, I could go to cooperate, in which I did. I was truly embarrassed by how I was treated in front of my mom. Update: I spoke to the owner Bob, he was super apologetic and embarrassed at how his employee treated us. He said the menu has been the same way for 30 plus years. We discussed how lettuce and mixed greens are NOT the same thing, and is misleading on the menu. I know after speaking with him that he will do the right thing.“

“Came in at 9:30 after a 3 hour drive and felt bad because they close at 10 but we’re quick eaters so I knew we’d be out in time for closing. I was worried we’d be met with attitude and rightfully so when someone comes in right before closing so I was prepared BUT the hostess was so nice which was a huge relief. Our server, Elder, was attentive, great at his job, and very nice! The food was perfect which is great cause we ate at a Cheddars in Florida a few months ago and it was absolutely horrible - this one was spot on! Cooks in the back knew exactly what they were doing. The whole staff had good vibes and attitudes, they all were hustling and working hard. Seriously this location is fantastic! Thanks for the great experience. Had such a great experience im writing this in the parking lot at 10:01 after walking out! Thanks again Elder and staff! Yall were awesome!“

Food is pretty good but the quality of the tenders tend to vary. Sometimes they're really good, other times they're a little rubbery. Their fry seasoning is pretty elite, and the chicken bacon ranch loaded fries are probably my favorite thing on the menu.“

“This was a perfect place for family friendly lunch! The food and service was excellent. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and my wife had the Philly. The bread on each was so fresh. Morgan was able to discuss food selections and provide input. She was attentive to us throughout the meal. We have listed this restaurant as a definite favorite to try more menu items. The ranch dressing was also very good. The bill for two was approximately $25.00 and considered a good value for the quality of the food and service we received.“

“Since moving to vinton, I was in search of a good restaurant. I've never been to Famous Anthony's, but I'm glad that I went to this one in vinton. The staff is amazing, they are very friendly. The food is delicious, and everybody in there is very friendly. No ac, who cares. These amazing people draw in equally amazing people. Thank you so much for your amazing service, and really delicious food. I'm the last survivor of my immediate family, but I feel as though I am part of a new family.“
