“What a great place to eat and bring friends. We stopped here on the way back from Roanoke. We looked at the restaurants in Roanoke and nothing seemed to be what we were looking for. Something uncomplicated good Bar and the menu that was not heavy or complex. Upon entering the Restaurant it was Sparkling clean. Yea bust me sparkling is the word I would use. We had great service from Jewel who also tends bar. Great recommendations from her on Draft Beers and lunch menu. I had a Po' boy shrimp sandwich, and my wife had a buffalo chicken wrap with Crispy fries. The crispy fries might not seem like much but it's the first time they came out as requested. Their menu is not extensive, but I would give them a try next time going thru Vinton Virginia.“

“Today’s buffet at Smiley’s was absolutely delicious! The food was all seasoned well, hot and just so good. The desserts were amazing!! I wanted to eat more but I just couldn’t eat another bite! If you haven’t tried their Sunday buffet….you should.“

“I pulled in thier parking lot checking on my car and as I went in to ask about could I be in the lot for a while,the lady at the hosting table was so friendly u could just hug her with biscuits and honey,as a matter of fact all the servers were just as friendly as it was too hot at the time to eat they game me water and a big smile and I got my car taken care of. If you're hungry don't go anywhere but to Famous Anthony's in Vinton,you'll love the people tht work there.

“My mother and I are traveling from NC to home in Pa. the hotel we are staying at recommended Hollywood's. the food and service was amazing. our server recommended all the food and after trying several things we know why. it was all delicious! our server Olivia was one of the best we ever had. (I was a server for many years so I know the hard work it takes to be one of the best and Olivia was the best) I hope when my mom and I left tonight we made Olivia's night. “The food was good, I had one of the salads, the nick salad I believe. It's a salad so it was hard to mess up. One of my friends had the club sandwich. He did say it was very good. We were there for lunch around noon. It was busy and the server was prompt to get to us when we came in. The food came fairly quickly, without error, and all at one time. Overall I enjoyed my first visit here and will definitely be back.

The wings were good but the jerk rub lacked salt (which is surprising since most rubs usually have the opposite problem lol) and I didn't get the celery and carrots I paid extra for. 3.5 experience out of 5“

“We needed a place to eat lunch within walking distance to the transportation museum. This was the place about a five minute walk to our destination. We both had burgers which were large and delicious. The service was excellent. This place is not a fast food restaurant. IT has a very nice interior with plenty of table space. IT was raining and during the week so the place was nearly empty. We will go back when we return to Roanoke next year.“

“This restaurant has a beautiful dining room. It is elegant yet relaxing at the same time with an open kitchen that gives it a special touch. The host greeted me warmly and took me to a booth wonderfully located in the middle of the main dining room facing the open kitchen. My server Trent provided excellent customer service, and the food was cooked as requested. I had the fried Calamari as an appetizer and the Filet medium rare as the main entrée. And for dessert, the bread pudding was simply amazing. The manager came by my table to welcome me, and I was very impressed with his demeanor and superb way he runs this restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining experience.“

“A last minute late dinner. We walked in a few minutes after 8:30, no reservation and they take their last reservation for 8:45. We were warmly welcomed and had a great dinner. Two of us had the PEI mussels with Benton’s bacon. Always a good choice at LR. Pork chop with bok choy and mashed potatoes was also delicious.

Parking: Big lot across the street behind Roanoke Co-Op and the church on the corner if there are no on-street parking spots available.“

“On a bus with a travel group from Mobile, Al - 42 senior citizens stopped at Golden Corral for our night (5:30) meal. Food was delicious with a very wide variety and cooked exceptionally well. “My husband and I first visited The Hotel Roanoke last year for a "mini-moon" after our marriage. This year, we revisited for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. To add to the festivities, we dine our first night at The Regency Room. The food is spectacular. The music is amazing. The environment is breath taking. The service is out-of-this-world! Would like to take a moment to thank the host for his hospitality, kindness and going out of his way to make each guest feel special. The second night of our trip he saw us walk by the dining room and followed us to the elevator to say "Hello" and to "Come see him again." I am still so impressed and touched by the gesture.“

“My family and I were here on Sunday March 31 . We ate at the restaurant and were treated like royalty! The plates, silverware and other items we used were all very clean and neatly presented to us. The food was delicious and very well prepared. I had chicken over rice, which was excellent!! Other people in my party had pizza and salad with chicken. Everyone was delighted and quite satisfied.
