The cashier behind the counter today, T'Asia, is always pleasant and and just an all-around joy to speak with also.“

“Went antiquing in Bedford and asked someone at one of the shops where they would go for lunch, and they pointed us to Forks. I had a cheeseburger and steak fries, and my husband had the burger patty with onion gravy and two sides (mashed potatoes and mac n cheese). We both enjoyed the food and the girls behind the counter were all very nice. Service was quick and you can tell it's a place for the locals.“

That kitchen is as clean as any high pace kitchen you will find. And if the sign at the entrance asking every patron to wait to be seated isn't a clue to please wait, I am not sure what will clue some folks in.“

“I have dined here several times and it’s enjoyable, especially if you get a window seat! The food has been good. I just got the breakfast buffet last weekend and it was nice but expensive if you only get one plate.Lunch and dinner has been great! After, you can take a walk around Abbott lake which is about a mile. Beautiful short trail! Sharp top, Flat top, and Harkening hill are all great hikes but I don’t recommend those on a full stomach lol!It’s usually pretty busy though and it’s nice to have a drink while you wait for a table to open up. There is also a small lounge area downstairs near the restroom and there usually aren’t any other people down there.The restroom is pretty small, the stalls specifically. Very little room to move or even close the door of the stall.“
