“If you're looking for an upscale dining experience with a stunning view, the Skyline Restaurant at the Virginian Hotel is a must-visit destination. From start to finish, my dining experience here was exceptional. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, and the service is top-notch. As for the food, I was blown away by the quality and presentation of each dish. From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, everything was delicious and beautifully crafted. I especially loved the Herb Chicken Breast, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the view from the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. Whether you're enjoying a romantic evening or a celebratory dinner with friends, the Skyline Restaurant is the perfect setting. I can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back.“
“This place is fantastic! The steak is perfect, juicy and well spiced! Better than a fine dining steak!! The ribs are delicious and have a yummy sauce. We chose the potatoes and cajaun pecan rice as sides and they are grand. The fillipino egg rolls are also a must! They are super friendly and kind, which is always a plus. Highly recommended!“
“Visiting Lynchburg for a wedding and needed to pick a dinner spot on reviews alone. This was a solid choice! Elizabeth was a friendly host and the food came out quickly. The barbecue pork ribeye was the highlight for me. Wish I had grabbed a photo!“
“My boss orders from here pretty often and one of the owners stops by. He is a nice guy and the subs are good. I haven't tried anything but the philly and it is one of my two favorite phillys in this area. The other option isn't open for lunch, so that makes this sandwich number one at noon. One of these days I might try other menu items, but for now I'm happy ordering the same thing. If you're craving a cheese steak, skip the chains like Mike's and head down here instead.“
“Consistently good service and delicious food. The fried bean chimichangas are my favorite. My family loves the La Caretta and the beans and rice. The menu offers options for everyone, including vegetarians. Our favorite restaurant to visit when in Lynchburg.“
“Came for a quick date night and enjoyed the experience. The ambiance is beautiful and our server was super sweet. We ordered an appetizer and entrees and still had room for dessert. The dishes are simplistic, small portioned, and clean. The homemade focaccia was the highlight. Love the cocktail menu design.“
“My visit was on Thanksgiving day.My main issue was the seating,The tables weren't normal dining tables. Instead, they seemed to be card tables.I was cursed by sitting with a large left-hand person on one side on me & a right-hand person on the other. It's like I had maneuver my eating skills.Just seemed like everyone was crammed in there.“
“My husband and I decided to go for lunch, we were apprehensive when we walked in and the place was packed and we were told it would be a 10 min wait. The service and the food were amazing. Our waitress was superb (Christa??). We'll most definitely be back.“
“Look, Iron and Ale is always busy, and that's a good thing. It's a testament to their food, their service, and their location. There aren't many two floor restaurants in Lynchburg (are there any?), let alone two floor restaurants with an attached tiki bar. Since they opened, Iron and Ale has consistently delivered great tasting food, and is one of Lynchburg's best dining options.“
“Fantastic drinks made by an attentive, social bartender and a great choice of playlists ranging from 70's hits to jazz. The food is handcrafted, fresh and unique seeing as they have a rolling menu based on what is freshest. They are a great late night bar as well, offering engaging events like Mario Cart tournaments, DJ sets, themed parties and more. There are no stairs here to dine or go to the restroom, so it is a wheelchair accessible space. Loved our visits here and are thankful to have a local space that is so adaptable! It transitions seamlessly from a swanky dinner spot to a late night hang out.“
“We ate at The Bistro at Acorn Hill twice this month. The food was awesome as always! Wanda and her staff provide warm and friendly service each time we're there. I love their blueberry pancakes and the omelets are the best in town! I'm part of a breakfast group that meets there regularly and it's become my favorite breakfast stop!Ed Dellinger“
“If you have been hankering for a good biscuit like your grandma made, get yourself to the Lynchburg Community Market and to #10 to see Miss Irene! The salmon cakes came highly recommend by the locals and they did not disappoint! I actually had way too much food. I was so full, I think ?that I need a nap!“
“The service was wonderful! My visit was like a taste away from home! I enjoyed eating my doubles for the first time. It tasted just like the one I always eat at Independence Square, Port of Spain. I normally travel as far as Georgia or Washington DC to get some Trini food but glad I heard of La Rue Pomme to enjoy some good food and snacks!!! Thank you“
“This is an amazing spot! The prices are affordable and the food is good and hot! To find a spot that has turkey burgers, a plus! They have been the best of the places of where I've been that actually served it! The atmosphere is friendly and they learn your name and what you normally order. I am so glad to have been able to frequent this establishment for the last past three months. Best wishes on continued success ?? ?Dietary restrictions: I am allergic beef and pork“
“Took my favorite cousin and friend out to dinner for Valentines Day. Food we ordered was delicious and filling. Our only complaint was they do not have crab cakes on there menu any longer, and they don't serve bread with meals. For three of us, I paid $118, not including the tip. I felt it was a little expensive not to included bread with meals. Food was great!“
“In town to see my mom and family. This has been one of my mom's favorite restaurants for many years and I'm glad to see that with all of the changes around the mall this remains a true staple of great food and atmosphere for lunch or time with family and friends.“
“This was the best Texas inn I have ever had! I came in Thursday around 9pm and everything was amazing! Me and and husband Dale were amazed by how quick the food was delivered after a full restaurant l. Landon is one of the best waiters I have seen! Fast, Friendly and efficient (also very creative with his cheesy creed shirt). The cooks were very polite as well! Overall a 10/10 experience.“
“Food was really good. My waitress was really really nice. BUT the hostess was not very accommodating and tried to be very difficult with us. We asked for seats inside but after 50 minute waiting, we got seated outside instead. Honestly, the hostess was just very rude to us. People who came in before us and after us got treated very differently.“
“We had amazing service, a fantastic meal, got to try new stuff and highly recommend it. We started with the pork belly buns which were to die for, then I had the paella which was incredible and my husband had tacu tacu con lomo and with this meal they’ve made customers for life! They have a wide variety of food and drinks and staff was friendly and knowledgeable.“
