“On Saturday March 2nd we just stumbled across Perky’s while traveling from Florida back home to Maine. Because of the name, we stopped. The place was packed. Our only option was up to an 1-1/2 hour wait for a table or sit at the counter. Im happy we stayed and chose the counter. For the next 45 minutes we had a front row seat to Greg and his 20 yr old sidekick along with several other kitchen and wait staff feed us and a sea of other people that were seated. In all their spare time they also filled numerous take-out orders and Greg checked on those of us seated at the counter. If all they had brought us to eat was warm water and stale popcorn the price we paid to witness this well oiled synchronized chaos was well worth it, however we ordered the Salmon and Prime Rib. Both were fantastic ! Everything that came off that grill looked fantastic. In a world where quality, hustle and customer service is pretty much non-existent, we found Perky’s Restaurant a refreshing blast from the past and we intend to go out of our way to eat there again. I would suggest that you make a reservation. Had we walked in 2 minutes later, we wouldn’t have had a place to sit.“
“First time at Cousin Boogy's and I have to say holy smokes. The portions they give you are incredible and the food is very good. They have a lot to choose from on the menu from burgers, hotdogs to quesadillas and so on. Everything everyone had was amazing. I have to say the french fries that have everything on them were incredible. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food that they give you so it's a great bargain. It's definitely a place I will go again when I visit my dad. I love how it looks inside. It's always clean and the bear in the front as you walk in is really cute. Definitely try this place if you haven't.“
“Food was fine. Everything was cooked well and served with attention. The location is obviously a local favorite, which is heartening to see. The meat selections were prepared to perfection. The roast beef, fried chicken, and fried fish were each well seasoned, fully cooked without being overcooked, and a nice treat. The side items were mostly pretty standard for a buffet. The rice pudding was a bit drier than I like and didn't have much for raisins or other additions, though the rice was of a decent texture and flavor was good. Small dining space can get quite loud with all of the open conversations.“

“So… I got stuck here and the food is reasonably priced. I got the ribeye and it was delicious. The lady who took my order was very very super nice. If I have to come back here I will, I was informed up front that they are closed on the weekends and they aren’t 24hours BUT they sure made me feel welcomed.“
“Was driving from one town to another on business. A colleague grew up here and knew the owner. Simple burger and grill serving the community since, forever it seems. The owner was very friendly and had great stories to tell. Being an old shop, it had the stools at the counter and a few booths. We sat at the counter as all the staff knew my colleague since he was a kid. You don't find jewels like this everywhere. I ordered a double cheese burger, toppings, and tots-crispy. It came out perfect. I spent two minutes devouring the burger, then casually consumed the tots listening to the stories. This place is what America used to be like, yet still has that fire. I hope to pass through here again. Next time maybe the chili dogs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED“
