“We decided to give Goldy’s a try. The outside looked just ok. Well, we just had the best lunch that we’ve had in a long time.the vegetable soup was fabulous! Sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was fresh and hot! Definitely worth the stop.“

““What a great breakfast! You can feel the love from this hut ! It’s called “”Barbs Dream HUt!”!for a very good reason , we was blessed to have learned about this place from the stay at the AB&B , food was prepared like we was coming over like family for breakfast ~ we only stayed in Lynchburg for 2 days, and had breakfast there 2DAYS! The biscuits for was amazing , my wife enjoyed the potatoes and my father in law enjoyed the pancakes. And we sat down inside and we can see the locals coming in , all walks of life enjoying food that was prepared by hands that know love , respect and it’s obvious when you speak to Ms Barb she officially bring you in as family .“

“My family of 10 dined here tonight for my birthday celebration study 4 pm 🎂 🎈 and we were fortunate to have Sean as our server. He was the best server...so patient, kind and so attentive to details. Iwe will be sure to ask for him next visit. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The pecan crusted salmon and fish snd chips meals were especially good! The dining atmosphere as well as the outdoor views of the downtown area were lovely at night. We are looking forward to returning again soon!“

“I'm in town for my daughter's state championship in track and field, and needed a place to go to for dinner. The atmosphere is rustic. A railroad sits in front of the restaurant. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi and it was very tasty. I would definitely come here again.“

“This place…! WOW….!!! The Neighbors Place restaurant served us perhaps the best steak dinner ever. The price was more than fair,…. The service was spot on,…. The facility was attractive & clean. “I stop by just about every day. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful, the food is very good and the wait is usually minimal. If the lines are long it’s just because the food is so good! If you’re in that big of a hurry call your order in and it’ll be ready when you get there.“

“We went to the Crown Embers for our 37th anniversary. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing, wonderful salad bar and the food was cooked to perfection. Pricilla was our waitress and she was wonderful. We will definitely go back.“

“You at Bojangles have gold with Yolanda. She's a great manager. The drive-thru messed up on my order and she took care of it. No questions asked. Couldn't ask for a more pleasant visit and quite honestly I'm not even mad that the order got messed up. Thanks to Yolanda. Y'all need to give her a raise.!“

“This is a such a lovely place! We had dinner New Year’s Eve day and they were so kind and welcomed our family with kindness. The prices are good for the food and sizes of the plates. We tried the pork chop, the rib eye, the pasta and the salmon. They had chicken strips for my daughter which is super helpful! ☺️ Loved the place, food and service! Thank you!“

Drinks stayed full, food came out right, and her attitude made the whole experience better. If every server was like her, dining out would always be this good.“
“Mom and I ate here for the first time in March 2026. There was about a 5 minute wait to be seated. Our server (Justice?), was very friendly and attentive and took good care of us. Mom and I both enjoyed the Chopped steak with salad and loaded baked potatoes, and bread! It was more than either of us could finish!“

“The food was amazing and it always is when I eat here. The poor server we had must have been like the only one there for a good bit and it picked up fast. He was so nice and kind and was doing great. He got a large party just before we were finishing up and so it took a really long time to just get our check so we could get outta there. I don't blame him. Management should have stepped in to help until more staff came in. It is typically very loud in this place so if you are someone who doesn't like loud spaces I would not go here. The noise tends to carry. Still a great place every time“
