“We came here for our Anniversary dinner. Our server Paris was fantastic. Ordered the Fried Oysters (Perfectly fried) and the Big Hack Burger (which was perfectly Tempt and juiciest burger). Thank you Kyerra and John in the kitchen. It was delicious.“
“I‘ve only had breakfast, so I can’t speak to the other meals and I always get the same thing. Bacon, eggs, toast, and some coffee. It’s my regular at this point. Food is good and consistent. Servers are always kind and attentive. My suggestion would be to offer hot tea as an option for folks that don’t drink coffee. Otherwise, all good.“
“I have eaten at Bo's for years and only recently discovered their delightful fried chicken. Super crispy and peppery breading. They don't mind customizing any order. And everyone there genuinely seems happy to be working there and greet people warmly. No complaints. Even smooth operating when busy.“
“The Tiger Inn, otherwise known as the TI, is located on the campus of Hampden-Sydney College. I am an alumni of HSC, and was a frequent visitor to the TI during my years on campus. Although Farmville, VA is just down the road a bit, the campus is mainly in the middle of nothing. And as a student, the dining hall (the commons) was the go-to for 90% of your meals. Especially after paying for a meal plan and not having an endless supply of funds otherwise. So the TI was always a place that gave you something different than the commons without having to go into town. The space is much bigger than what the restaurant itself needs. But there are always activities going on the can fill that space too. The people at the TI were always friendly and their food was a step up from the commons. So it was a nice treat if you wanted a decent burger or a hot sandwich. It was a good spot to go if your parents or friends ever came to visit and once again, didn't want to trek too far from campus. And don't forget that they serve beer! A welcomed sight for a college student after a long day of (skipping?) class!“
“Came here with a a larger than usual wedding party with a dedicated room to house all of us!! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! They were very patient and kind through the whole process! The food was served hot and delicious! They had a couple of different salads and was perfect! The meats was cooked to perfection!! The dessert afterwards was a perfect ending to a wonderful evening! I hope to be back again soon when I'm in Farmville again someday soon! From my first experience here I highly recommend this place!“

“This is a cool restaurant located in the downstairs of Hotel Weyanoke. While the website says they open at 4:30pm, they actually don't open until 5:00pm. But the staff was nice enough to let us grab a few drinks, which we did.And I'm so glad we did! I had the raspberry lime Rickey and it was absolutely perfect, a gorgeous drink! Our bartender even gave us a free drink of the day, the tropical breeze. Yummy! We decided to eat dinner elsewhere because we wanted to watch some college football, so off we went.However, we did come back for nightcaps and dessert. I was literally so happy with my sweet potato cheesecake I could have died and gone to heaven right there! Definitely a sweet spot!“
