The food was great. Wood plank salmon over rice and asparagus, porter house 1 1/2” thick pork chop over mashed redskin potato’s. Quiet low light, cloth napkins eclectic decor.
My boyfriend and I went to Taproot Tavern Sunday night for our anniversary. It was delicious and the service was excellent. It's a rare thing for us to share our meals and neither one of us had food envy of the others' (aka we both loved both meals equally) - I had the salmon and he had the hanger steak. I had a wonderful experience at Taproom Tavern! Steven was my bartender and server, and he was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. Even with the storm that had just passed through, they were still able to prepare food from the rooftop bar menu.
